Just found out the other night that the Kroger in my area will no longer be taking paper coupons and ecouponds for the same item. I’m really upset about this change. Cashier said that that updates the registers so that if you try it a message will pop up and not let you use both at the same time. And you won’t be able to pick if you want to use the paper of the ecoupon, if they are different amounts. Has anyone else had this issue? Is is a company wide change? Thanks :)

      Hi Carrie,
This has been the official Kroger policy for several months now. Some stores were still allowing it since the registers had not been changed. It does make it more difficult to determine if you should load ecoupons or not. Most of the time, there are better paper coupons. Good luck!

Kroger fails AGAIN with it’s latest promotion. Here is the message I received after just winning a prize in the first day of the march to savings promotion:
“We were unable to apply the coupon “FREE CAPRI SUN Juice Drink” to your account, please contact customer service for additional assistance.
Congratulations! You won FREE CAPRI SUN Juice Drink, any one 10 ct box excluding 100% Juice Line”

      Hi Jack,
Sorry you had problems with the promotion. Kroger customer service should be able to take care of it for you.

Happened to me as well. I’m sure they’ll fix it – at least our win is recorded in the “My Prize History” tab.

It wouldn’t load my bbq sauce. I wonder if it is because I have several free items on the card from their cartbuster game.

Are there any other people who have a Fred Meyer as their Kroger affiliate. For some reason they have not been listed in the last 2 promotions. If so, are you able to win by changing your preferred store to one of the Kroger stores.

Most of the Kroger IWG – you are only allowed 2 prizes. I think that may be the issue with the error message.

Regarding the post about kroger ecoupons and paper coupons. My store closely inspects the register tape to make sure I don’t have an ecoupon for an item before they will scan my paper coupon talk about time consuming when you have 40+ coupons! I am thinking of deleting all my ecoupons to avoid the hassle.

About the March to Savings Instant wins…
Today (3-13) is the first day of the promotion so the “2 prize only” isn’t the issue. I got the same message except I won a Philly Cooking Creme. I called the “website support” 866-221-4141 and was told this was the correct phone number to contact and they would put it on my account within 24 hours. We’ll see.

I won foil…yay! It wouldn’t load. Other prizes are not the issue, cause I’ve never won before. I will try calling today.

I just called customer service and the person I spoke to for the promotion menu selection transferred me to technical support, who filled out an online comment for me. She said it would take 24-48 hours to hear something back by email or to have the two items I won in the March to Savings applied to my Kroger card.

The problem has been corrected – I was able to load two prizes (see above) from the new March to Savings promotion on my Kroger card a few minutes ago. I signed into the sweepstakes page, which took me to the my account/prize history screen, and then clicked the claim button for both prizes! Cheers to Kroger.
