I was a little upset to find out today that Kroger won’t accept eCoupons and paper coupons on the same item. I had a $1.00 off 2 Ragu but because I had $.25 off 1 Ragu eCoupon, it didn’t take my paper one. There was also a BOGO degree I tried to use but it wouldn’t allow me because I had used a $.50 off 1 Degree eCoupon. :( Peachtree City, GA

The ecoupons are manufacturers coupons so Kroger stopped us from using manufacturers paper coupons and e coupons together because they don’t get reimbursed one or another and they don’t want to lose money so they changed the computer program to ensure it won’t ring using paper coupon if ecoupon has been deducted from your grocery bill. I know it stinks but it’s reality so all of us have to accept it. Sorry about it.

The best strategy is to compare the value of the coupons using either ecoupons or paper coupons so I’ve stopped using ecoupons because they don’t double when my paper coupon does but I do use some e coupons that I know I don’t get in the papers so I have to compare the value of it.

@Angela – This was happening to me, and I spoke with a manager. They told me to not swipe my Kroger card till the very end of the transaction. So give the cashier your coupons and then give them your Kroger card at the end. IT WORKED, I was able to use all my coupons and then the ecoupons didn’t come off the card and can be used later if you want.

I went through my account on Kroger and removed all the coupons I had loaded on there. Now, I just load a few for items I’m getting that I don’t have paper coupons for. I tried giving my Kroger card after my coupons, and she insisted I give it to her first. I guess it depends on the cashier you get.

The Horizon single serve organic milk – there’s also a printable coupon on the Horizon website. You have to do the survey, but you can choose to print out both the half gallon coupon and the single serve coupon if you want.
