My store in Lexington, KY was on the list, but when I went yesterday, they said they were not participating. Has anyone else had this happen?

How does KMart’s Q policy work with overages? Like, if you have a $1.50 off Q and the item is $2.50..there would be a $.50 overage…will they flat out refuse the coupon or will they adjust the price? This is the first time I see mine on the list, but I hesitate to even go based on past experiences.

No overage, the computer would auto
      coupon 1.50
      multi coupon 1.00
so it would take 2.50 off total

You can only get overage if you are using a $5 off a $50 purchase kmart savings coupon, etc.

Does anyone know if there is a list of what’s included and what’s not? I would think cosmetics would fall under the Beauty section, but i guess not :(.

I went today and our store in IL was not partiicpating. However, there were clearance toys marked down so I was able to stock up on holiday and birthday gifts. A lot of the items were 90% off original price!

Another deal I found was Tampaz Pearl tampons. The 20ct box is $4.69
Use the $2/1 coupon (P&G 7/4/10) making the box $.69/each after super double coupon!!! I’m headed back today to hopefully stock up on some more items. :)

Only coupons up to $2 in value are doubling for this event, so it won’t double. You may be able to use it in conjunction with a B1G1 coupon provided it’s a $3/1 coupon, but this varies by store. It’s worth a try though!

I called my store today and they are on the list provided in this post, but they said they were not a participating store. How would I find out for sure….just ring something up and see?

I’d recommend you call customer service to see what they have to say.

    Hello All!!

Well, I went to the KMart on Hamilton Rd in Columbus, Oh. I spent 45 minutes with my matchups and finally found 5 items to check out with.
#1; My rewards card wouldnt work and they said I never activated it so it most likely wouldnt work anyways
#2 they wouldnt take my printables-AFTER (no b.s) YELLING to the cashier next to her to ask ‘do we take the internet coupons?’ NOPE, we dont take them and handing them back–which was fine, but I wish I would have known they didnt take them.
#3 they wouldnt even take a Manufacturer coupon because it had a Kroger logo on it.

I left empty handed, as did my friend. I would have NEVER wasted an hour of my life if I would have known they didnt take printables, my card wouldnt work AND my Manufacturer coupons didnt even work.

I wrote KMart but I probably sent it to the worng people. I just learned a lesson, dont shop there. I had VERY low expectations anyways so I guess I cant be too mad :)

Bummer!! I was afraid of that due to past bad experiences at the one near me, but they took my printables. I wonder if you can call their corporate and get the Q policy…

I just got back from K Mart. They need to communicate with their stores better!!! After collecting my 5 things, I went to the checkout and asked FIRST if they were in fact doing the double coupons, as they were one of the stores on the list. The lady had no idea what I was talking about and asked someone at the Service Desk. She had no clue either and said she would go find out. In the meantime my cashier was very nice and said, Let me try it, and it automatically doubled my coupons, even though they had no idea it was happening! Then as I was just about done with my transaction, they called from the back office saying they were not participating! I said, Uhm it just worked automatically, you guys need to check with Corporate. And I left! I can’t believe the stores on the list have no idea about it :-( I plan on going back tomorrow, not saying a word and just getting my 5 things.

I am not a fan of Kmart because of their poor customer service issues. I only shop there when there is a deal like this going on. My coupons doubled but not up to the full $2.00, only $1.50 and the item was over $4. I went to customer service and adjusted it for me. It was strange. But I did get – 2 toothbrushes, 1 Dove shampoo, 1 Rightguard deodorant and 1 floss for 70 cents. They did take my printables though. I would follow-up with their customer service and see what the deal is.

I went to my Kmart in Chester, VA today and was able to do 2 transactions in a row.

I used [2] 2$ off Gilette Mens Body wash on the ones priced $4.45 and got them for .45 each. Same thing for 2 Gilette Mens Shampoo. I also got Visine drops for free and Crest Pro Health Mouthwash marked down to $5 for $1 using the $2 off from this weekend’s P&G.

I had no problems with any of them! Just hand over your rewards card first, let them scan and then the coupons. Make sure when the cashier starts pressing buttons on the screen, they have to choose which item the coupon is being used for, that they choose the right one. I would leave all 5 items out and not bagged to make it easier for verification.

    Good luck!

I had the same issue happen to me today too!! I went in, got my five items and after everything was rung up I handed the cashier my coupons (4 were printed at home, 1 was from the Sunday paper). The cashier said “I don’t think we take these print at home coupons because they have had “issues” lately (whatever that means). He took the coupons over to the manager and all she said was “Tell her we don’t take them.” I printed the coupons from all the links that were posted on this web post, so they were completely valid and why they wouldn’t accept them is beyond me (especially considering they have a section on their website where you can print coupons!). I just took them back, left all the items on the counter and said forget it and left. I won’t be shopping there ever again, it just wasn’t worth the trouble and the drive other there. Morale of the story: Call ahead and ask if they will take the coupons before making the trip!
