A good deal compared to the shelf price, but I feel like I regularly coupon most of these items down so much that I’d be paying less than $20 anyway.

I agree — it really depends on what the coupons are in the coupon booklet. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to provide me with a list of them. :(

I received an email from groupon this morning for $10 your first purchase, so I scored this for only $10!

to make it a little better deal, ebates’ daily deal is groupon today. You get 6% cash back instead of 3% so that’s an extra $1.20 “discount”.

I tried to get to this Groupon by linking through several other blogs before I saw your post but none of the links on any other blog went to the correct page!
    Thanks much, for great info!

I paid the full $20. It’s a decent deal if you figure your time/energy/cost of gas. into the math. The coupon book might be worth it or it can be a $75 off 2! Then not so good. But either way summer will be here before we know it, and it will come in handy.

I have tried Groupon several times, and I have to communicate that I have not had good luck with it! I am hoping to be able to use the Dormzy Groupon for $50 of products (I paid $25) for out-of-state college student..but now need to remember to use it right away when he goes back to school this fall b/c they’re constantly out of the items I attempt to purchase. Also, at a restaurant last week ON 4/11/11, the employee (owner?) wouldn’t accept the Groupon that had an expiration date of 4/11 (same date) on it!!!! People left w/o buying, but some (me included) did anyway b/c we were “downtown” and unable to come up w/another option. I know, I know, about contacting Groupon to be refunded the purchase price, but I’m just saying… so far, it’s more hassle than it’s worth!!! Not all businesses are “friendly”…

Adding to the topic of Groupons . . they, the Groupons, backed out on me on my purchase of two Spa-type service Groupons to the same business they had six months more before expiring – The reason I was given was the business lost an employee; well I’m sure they will hire someone before the expiration date but they canceled my Groupons! I too have had the experience where when using a Groupon employees at the businesses provided “Customer No-Service”! I spoke to an owner of an upscale car wash/detail service who had participated in the Groupon experience. I did not know about/purchase one. He said it was great for business yet on the other hand, the volume hit them so fast they could not reasonably handle it until they hired additional workers. I’ve decided, for myself, I’m going to look more carefully and think the offer thru before and if I decide to ever purchase one again. Veronica, I appreciate your info and good luck!

I looked for the coupon book and display in my stores but they don’t have them. Where can I get the General Mills coupon book? Thanks a lot.
