Awesome coupon, thanks for the heads up!

One of the clerks at my CVS said that you have to reach the $20 – you can’t be two cents short to get the ECBs.

I am so bummed, I was looking at the deal and didn’t notice the price at my store was $9.79 each and I was .42 short of the $20 so it didn’t trigger the ECB and the manager wouldn’t override it. I have never been short like that before but I have read on many blogs that it will trigger the ECB if it’s less than .50 but I guess not. I ended up returning them on the same trip b/c there are no John Frieda products less than $9 at my store

Ugh, that’s a bummer. I’ve not heard of the less than $0.50 trigger, but they do often trigger if it’s just a few cents off. I don’t know of an official cutoff though — and of course there are always exceptions to every rule.
