The original link to that coupon on Hallmark.com still says the promotion has ended. I’m a little worried that someone took a screen shot or something and is letting folks print it off their site. What do you think? Is it valid?

I used this a couple weeks ago, and it was awesome. However, the cashier made sure to point out (very nicely) that it can only be used on Hallmark merchandise-like you suggested wrapping paper, ornaments, cards, etc.-I didn’t know that while I was shopping, and I was going to use it on a Wilow Tree figurine. Just FYI.

I used this $10 coupon the other day on a Willow Tree figurine and had absolutely no problem. It may depend on the store and the cashier.

Just looked at my receipt and saw that the coupon had my e-mail address on it, so I don’t know whether it will work without the e-mail address.

I went and used mine the other day and was told by the cashier and owner of the store that they were emailed by corporate this past weekend to no longer accept the coupons since the program went “viral”; she still accepted mine, hopefully they’ll still accept them.

Side Note: This is the same coupon/bardode/number, just without your email address, you probably won’t be able to use it! I hope whoever made this takes it down fast!

reading the reviews from the site the coupon is posted on, many Hallmark employees are posting saying it is a fraudulent coupon and Hallmark is no longer accepting

You can use it on ANYTHING sold at Hallmark. It doesn’t say Hallmark items only. It’s FAB!!!

be careful with this 10/10 hallmark. the original (which no longer has prints) had your name and email address on it…this is a copy that someone edited that part out.

I tried to use this coupon at several different Hallmarks in my area on some Sarris candy and was told it couldn’t be used on candy OR sale items so I argued that it doesn’t say that on the coupon and left. So I went home and called Hallmark to confirm this since it is not printed on the coupon. They said that since most Hallmarks are individually owned that it is up to each store’s owner. I found which store close to me was a corporate store and they excepted the coupon with no problem on Sarris candy AND were very nice and even let me combine this with my $5 coupon even though I was going to do them in separate transactions. The others stores that rejected my coupon were very rude to me acting like I was trying to steal from them. Customer service at Hallmark didn’t say anything about this coupon being fraudulent. I think that individual store owners just don’t want customers to use them because they are losing out. Customer service said that any corporate store would accept it with no limitations on items UNLESS it was printed on the coupon. Hope this helps!

I was at 3 different Hallmark stores this weekend and I’m noticing that the non-corporate stores seem to be the ones that are a little more fussy about the coupons and limitations on what you can use them on. I even had one non-corporate store refuse to let me use a survey coupon on wrapping paper. Apparently the non-corporate stores don’t honor all the same promotions and it’s left up to the discretion of the owners of the franchise. The non-corporate stores are killing Hallmark’s business. Unfortunately it’s not easy to find out what stores are corporately owned. I’d recommend contacting Hallmark to find out which stores in your area are corporately owned, they seem to offer better service.

I did notice that my name, email address, etc did print on the coupon that was emailed to me by Hallmark so if you .find a store that takes one of the coupons without this info then you were just lucky. A lot of it just depends on the cashier you get and how informed they are.

I did try to print this coupon at 2 different printers when it was still viral, and it would just print out a blank page with the browser information on the top right of the page *sigh* Now I’m trying to print this one out, which is fine, but I do realize, as others said that this was supposed to have your name and e-mail on it. Where on the coupon, if you could be a bit precise, was the name and e-mail supposed to be on? I really don’t care…I will add those suckers on. I’m not missing a good coupon because of their website! Thanks!

and people wonder why coupons are pulled or good coupons dont come back…because people with the “i dont care ill add it ” attitude..that is fraud and altering a coupon. the next deal is around the corner and can be done legally…

I did try and do it the right way….Sheesh, it’s not my fault it wasn’t printing. I tried it in 2 different computers, in 2 different states (for crying out loud)! They both obviously had ink…so I’m not trying to scam them, I was there at the right time to get one of these babies and they scammed me! Still waiting on a reply from customer service btw.

we all know that coupons have a print limit and if yours didnt print then it is one of those things and you missed out….but that doesnt mean that you can take the illegal one and adjust it to your needs….do it the right way by contacting them…not the wrong way….we should encourage others to do the right thing..not point out the way to do it wrong…

I think on my coupon that I used last week my email address printed above the bar code. That one went through fine but this one a little too odd to me. Don’t think I will be trying this one…

Is it just me or does the coupon seem to be altered, and it seems strange that it’s not hosted on the hallmark site but on a private site with google ads.

The original coupon was only supposed to be given to new or expectant moms who signed up for hallmark e-mails. I did this a couple weeks ago and used it on a purse. I had no problems.

This year I did get one in my email and it does have my name and email on the bottom of it. But last year this coupon made it’s way around the internet and I printed the coupon but it did not have my name and email on it and I was told the same thing. So I believe it is a copy.

Well that’s what they told me, not saying that it was necessarily true because she did accept mine. It seems like a lot of people, well companies, don’t like others getting things for free.
