Grateful Giveaways #6: Linksys App Enabled Dual Band Router

June 5, 2012 by Tara Kuczykowski

To kick off the summer, I’m excited to once again be part of the Grateful Giveaways group, bringing you 9 awesome giveaways for more summer fun. Watch for a new one every hour on the hour!

Next up is a brand new top-of-the-line router from Cisco to help you better manage your connectivity!

The Linksys EA4500 App-Enabled Maximum Performance Dual-Band N900 Router with Gigabit is part of the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers line and will be app-enabled starting June 26th (with an automatic software update to the units that are purchased before that date).

This router does more than connect you to the internet; it also gives you access to your home network and connected home devices anytime, anywhere – from your smartphone, tablet or browser.

With the coming new apps, you could turn on the air conditioner before getting home from work, get an automatic reminder on your smartphone when the refrigerator filter needs replacing, or remotely turn off the kids’ XBox while out to dinner.

The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers offer exceptional wireless performance and maximum throughput, as well as support for Cisco Connect Cloud, the next generation of Cisco Connect software, which provides simple anytime, anywhere management of multiple home networks.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Linksys EA4500 App Enabled N900 Dual-Band Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB!

Entry is simple! You just need to answer the question below by leaving a comment on this site. You can even gain up to 3 bonus entries for doing each additional item listed (just make sure that you leave one entry for each one – up to a total of 4 comments.) As a reminder, comments left on Facebook, Twitter or other posts will not be counted.

REQUIRED ENTRY:

Leave a comment. How many devices do you run on your router at home?

BONUS ENTRIES:

1. Follow Deal Seeking Mom in a reader or via e-mail updates.

2. Follow Deal Seeking Mom on Facebook or Twitter.

3. Follow Cisco Linksys on Facebook.

This giveaway will remain open until 11:59 p.m. EST, Tuesday 6/12. Any comments left after this cut-off will not be counted. The winner will be selected randomly and will be notified via email within 48 hours after the close of the contest.

This giveaway is part of the Grateful Giveaways: Summer Family Fun Event being hosted by myself and 9 other bloggers. You can increase your chances of winning this prize (as well as all of the others on this site), by visiting each of them and entering the same way as you did here. You have plenty of time to get to all of them, since the contest will be open for five full days.

If you haven’t already done so, you might want to print out this spreadsheet to help guide you through all of the entries on all of the blogs.

    Oh gosh, let me think
2 laptops, a Roku, Xbox, Wii, Integrated Blueray player, a tablet, an e-reader and probably a few more I’m not thinking of. No wonder the internet signal in our house is terrible. We’re eating up all the bandwidth. Would love to try this out to see if it works better than my anchient router. Thanks!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
