Grateful Giveaways #3: Sinbad Sweets

May 23, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

No Father’s Day lineup would be complete without sweets for Dad … so I am excited to share with you the next giveaway item …. delicious desserts from Sinbad Sweets. Finding a unique gift for Dad isn’t always easy. . . but if Dad has sweet tooth, then Sinbad Sweets might be the solution to finding Dad the perfect gift this year!

Sinbad Sweets is the country’s leading specialty baker of the Mediterranean delicacy baklava and many other sinfully delicious desserts. Their baklava varieties, nut tarts, macaroons and turtle shells are hand-crafted by a team of highly skilled artisan bakers. Their unique combination of old-world recipes and proprietary innovations allow them to keep the assortments of sweets consistently delicious and authentic.

Located in the heart of California, they are surrounded by nut and fruit orchards and vineyards. They take pride in supporting their local economy by actively sourcing local suppliers for ingredients whenever possible. All of their nuts, honey, eggs and dairy products arrive wholesome and fresh from local ranches and farmers. They produce their own fillo dough on site, guaranteeing their stringent quality standards are consistently met.

Sinbad Sweets and Kronos baklava are sold nationally in restaurants, club stores and many local grocery stores…but you can also order them right online, with gift packages starting as low as $11.95 and free shipping on orders over $50! If you are hosting a Father’s Day get together, Sinbad Sweets can help ease your stress with their Party Trays. They also offer gifts for that special anniversary, birthday or even send a thank you.

But how do they taste? Let’s just say my willpower was sorely tested. We received a delicious array of macaroons, nut tarts, and baklava, and while they were all delicious, the baklava was incredible — light, flaky, and saturated with honey. And the trays are very generous — we have plenty to share with friends and family.

One lucky reader will win a $100 credit to spend on Sinbad Sweets!

Baklava, no question about that. I used to go to school across from a Greek church and they had an annual festival. I had baklava for the first time there and now I can’t find it anywhere else for a good price!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
