Happiness is … starting off today’s awesome giveaways with Snoopy and the Gang!! This one will be sure to put a smile on the face any Snoopy or Peanuts fan … or anyone who has fond memories of the saying, “Good Grief Charlie Brown”!

The Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz that began in 1950 and lasted for 50 years, went way beyond the newspaper. Snoopy has become one of the most beloved comic strip characters, along with Charlie Brown and the whole gang of Peanuts characters. Holiday TV Specials such as A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown have become timeless classics, and must-see shows during holiday time, and they continue to delight each year.

Also- be sure to check out Peanuts.com … a wonderful collection of everything from Vintage Snoopy to current Peanuts Gang happenings. This comic strip that has warmed the hearts of so many children and grown ups alike, continues to do so today.

What more can you say about The Peanuts? I grew up watching the Charlie Brown holiday specials every year growing up, and it’s a tradition that I now get to share with my own kids. I love that they look forward to them as much as I do!

We watched the new Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown DVD last night as a family, and it was absolutely adorable. And the coffee table book is absolutely amazing. There are so many little surprised tucked in it — my kids have spent hours paging through it.

    My favorite peanuts memory was ice skating in Santa Rosa, CA where Charles Schulz’s daughter ice skated. He bought the ice rink and decorated it with Peanuts characters.

    I learned that in the comic strip, the little red headed girl is never named, but in one of the TV specials, they called her Heather.

    of Snoopy and his friends and I got to be in it!

    I never knew Charlie Brown had a girlfriend at one time. Her name was Peggy Jean and they met at summer camp.

    My favorite memory is watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special. My mom would always make popcorn.

    We have carried this tradition on with my two boys and my funniest memory of it came this year. My two year old son was memorized watching it and we watched it so much he knew the movie by heart. When it comes to the part in the show where Snoopy is standing behind Lucy wagging his hand imitating her, my two year old son suddenly started doing that with them. It was hilarious. I’m so glad my kids love CB and the Peanuts gang as much as my husband and I do.

    I loved watching mostly the Peanuts thanksgiving special each year as a child. My favorite character of course is Snoopy. I love going to Knotts because you get to see all the characters. :D

    Went to FAQ’s and founf out this about Peanuts…50 year/17,897 strip history of PEANUTS…Did not know they have been around for 50 yrs already.

    My favorite Peanuts memory is watching the Peanuts Christmas special with my mom, drinking hot cocoa and eating popcorn :)

    My Mom and I are both Peanuts fans….so my best memory is sharing our love together. We would watch the movies and TV specials together, and would even read her Mom’s comic books.
