Giveaway: Win an Eye-Fi SD Memory Card!

June 6, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom 381 Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Eye-Fi. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love taking pictures of my kids with my Canon Rebel XSi, but I don’t love all of the time that it takes me to find my USB cord, hook it up to my computer, and download all of my photos. In fact, I just finally downloaded about nine months’ worth of photos! Thanks to my new Eye-Fi SD memory card, that’s all a thing of the past now.

What’s so special about Eye-Fi? Well, basically it does all of the work for you. Eye-Fi automatically backs up and organizes your photos via a wireless connection. It can also share your photos on your favorite photo-sharing site as you’re taking them. And Eye-Fi has an “endless memory” feature that automatically frees up additional memory as your photos are safely delivered.

Eye-Fi features:

  • Memory — Store photo and videos with up to 8GB of SDHC memory. Perfect for your compact camera!
  • Wireless — Upload photos and videos from your camera through your WiFi network thanks to built-in 802.11n speed.
  • Automatic — Back up and organize photos and videos on your computer in a snap.
  • Effortless — Share on your favorite website, even when your computer is off. Pick from Flickr, Picasa, YouTube or 22 additional sites.
  • Endless — Can free up space for you after pictures are safely delivered. Never worry about running out of space again.

Check out this quick video to learn more about how Eye-Fi works:

I love taking pictures. I have taken so many that I’ve had to purchase another memory stick those are very expensive. I love taking pictures and videos of special occasions then uploading to my computer sharing them on facebook. I just hate when your trying to video people acting like a fool. I am wanting it to be memorable and they’re just acting up because a camera is there. The nice thing about this memory stick is that you don’t have to have any wires just lovely. : ) This is something that I could really use and it would come in handy.

I love taking pictures of my 2 boys, and doing group photos at the holiday gatherings. I have thousands of pictures of my boys and they are 19 months and 4 years old! I hope to keep taking them, and this would help download faster! Thanks for the opportunity to win this, and for the great udates via email!

I’ll admit I am not great at remembering the camera.. but when I do, my favorite pictures are of my husband and son when they are just interacting.. not necessarily “posing” for the camera. When my husband throws our son up in the air and catches him. I like to capture true, pure, joy. :)

I’ve taken landscape, portrait, passport, family and friends, and I love them all. Each poses different challenges and skills, but really it all boils down to capturing the right moment.

Oh, my gosh! i’ve been using an older Kodak EasyShare that I can’t get a compatible USB cord for, so I have to take the SD card out, put it into my daughter’s kiddie camera, and download from there. What a pain. This kind of card would be so very helpful.

My favorite memories to capture? My kids, when they are doing goofy poses, especially if they are taking pictures of each other.

Well, I am a pet parent, so I love taking pictures of my four legged kids. They are always doing something cute or funny, and therefore I literally take thousands of pictures each year, so this card would be ideal for me.
