Finish Coupon Good on Any Size Tabs or Gelpacs ($0.24 at CVS!)

January 11, 2012 by Deal Seeking Mom 20 Comments

Here’s a great deal to get 9 boxes of Finish tabs or gelpacs for as low as $0.24 each at CVS.  This deal takes 9 coupons, and only two coupons can be used per transaction so you’ll have to split this one up a bit!  Here’s how it works out:

Finish Powerball Tabs (20 ct.), $3.50 each
Get $10 CVS Cash wyb $30 in participating products
$2.15/1 Finish Quantum Powerball or Gelpacs, exp. 1/30/12 (SS 01/01/12)
$2.15 ($0.24 each!) after 9 coupons and CVS cash!

To clarify any coupon concern: The coupon mentioned from the 1/1 Smart Source insert can be used toward the purchase of any Finish® Quantum 25 count or higher. It can also be used on any size Finish Powerball Tabs or Finish Gelpacs.

Thanks, Fabulessly Frugal!

Still not seeing how you can use the $2.15 coupon – it specifically says it’s for the Quantum.

      the coupon states
SAVE $2.15 On Any One (1) Finish Quantum 25 ct. or higher, Powerball or Gelpacs (offer excludes 10 ct. or 12 ct. finish quantum)(not to be combined with any other coupons, no more than two coupons for the same products can be used in the same transaction)
there is a comma after quantum 25ct or higher then powerball or gelpacs excludes 10ct or 12ct so you can use this coupon on the powerball or gelpacs any size except 10 or 12ct….does that make sense now? Hope that helps!

The 2.15 coupon wont work. It is for the “Quantum” The ones on sale are the regular Finish and then the Quantum on sale are the 12 count which the coupon excludes! Would have been great though!

It does say it can be used on the gelpacs and tabs BUT it would not go thru at Walmart on the smaller package only the larger one

the coupon that I have states $2.15 OFF Any 1 Finish Quantum 25ct or higher, Powerball or Gelpacs… the comma after “25ct or higher” makes it clear that in can be used towards Powerball or Gelpacs too…. also, the exclusion says “Offer excludes 10ct or 12ct Finish Quantum” only…. :)

I have no problem with the coupon description but I thought you had to buy all the items in one transaction to get the gift card. Is this not the case?

I was wondering the same thing as Carol. The gift card deal can be done in multiple transactions?

Yes, you can do as many transactions are you like and at the bottom of your receipt it will have how much more you will need to spend to get to $30. The same thing if you do the Benefiber deal.

You can only use 2 per transaction, per the coupon. I HATE match-ups like these. It feeds into the shelf clearing, hoarding, over extreme couponing mentality. If you are buying 9+ newspapers, how much money are you saving. And even if you are, how many CVS stores are you driving to with that gams because I know my store won’t have 9 in stock.

Has anyone tried this yet? We run our dishwasher at least once sometimes twice a day, seems like a good deal!

Tara, a lot of couponers use ecb to but newspapers. Honestly, this isn’t about hoarding, because people USE these. I’d sure rather buy 9 at 24 cents a piece over buying them at a couple bucks a pop each time I ran out. Also, the gift card deal features MANY items, so you don’t HAVE to get 9 Finish. This is just a suggestion since it is a rare, high value coupon. :)

I did this on sunday at CVS (only got 6 added with others items I needed) the coupon beeped for the gel packs but ran for quantum (both are included) but the cashier entered it manually in one transaction. CVS stocks 20 packs which don’t technically count with the coupon.

I would not consider stocking up on 9 packages of dishwasher detergent to be hoarding necessarily. This coupon only comes out once a year (every January since I can remember), so I use this opportunity to stock up for the entire year.

That said, there are other items that you can include in this deal to decrease the amount of detergent you’re buying from CVS. And we’ll likely see lots of deals over the next few weeks that we can take advantage of.

I just wish I actually had 9 of these. I get two papers because I live near two metropolitan areas, but the coupons in them are different (better from one city than the other).

This is a great deal. Might make me dig deeper on the $30 to get gift card deal.

This deal was an amazing blessing for our family! Thank you for posting :)
And for the few of you who think this deal isn’t worth it, let me break it down this way. I pay $1.50 per paper in my town. So if I buy 9 papers that = $13.50. These tabs were on sale for $3.50 of I would have bought them w/out a coupon. $3.50 x’s 9 =$31.50. I’m still ahead by $18!!! I run an in home daycare. We run the dishwasher alot!!!!
BUT…..I got an even better deal. Since I’m so blessed w/couponing friends and family who do not have a dishwasher(they gave me their q’s) I did the deal 17 times!!!!
    $3.50 x’s 17 =$59.50
    -$36.55 (q’s) =$22.85
    -$20 (2 $10 gift cards)
    =$2.85 for all 17 or $.17 a box!!!!
