Dollar General Now Delivers + $25 Gift Card Giveaway

September 14, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

This post brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many of you already shop Dollar General for their low prices, but did you know that now Dollar General Delivers?!? That’s right — now you can save both time and money by shopping Dollar General online from the comfort of your home with just the click of a button.

I took a quick look around the site and was able to quickly add several items to my cart that we currently need.

The prices seem very reasonable, and it’s always nice to have items delivered right to your front door, especially bulky items like paper towels. I’m sure you all know what it’s like to have to make a trip to the store in the pouring rain with children in tow simply to pick up some toilet paper — not a pleasant experience!

Right now you can give ordering from Dollar General online a try and save even more by entering DG10FIRST at checkout! You’ll receive an additional 10% off your purchase plus FREE shipping! Don’t wait, though — this offer is only good through Friday, September 16th.

If i won a $25.00 gift card from dollar general I would use the money to purchase bottled water, hot cocoa mix, and paper places, spoons, napkins for the local homeless here in town. Dollar general is where we purchase all of the ice, and paper products that we donate. :-)

I hate these types of dollar stores honestly people think they are getting a good deal here but its usually a smaller bottle or product than whats at meijer or krogers etc so they think because its cheaper its a deal beware of sizes

I would love to win a $25 gift card to Dollar General, my parents live in walking distance and we go there all the time! I think I’d spend it on a Net10 minutes card for my kiddos pre-paid cell phone and if I had any money left over and buy some of their awesome 50 cent cards, never know when you need a card in a pinch… and maybe a Dove bar or something chocolate… gotta pamper yourself too LOL!

This may sound funny but I would buy school supplies for my sons teacher. She is an amazing teacher and we r vary lucky to have her this year. She has a wish list box in her weekly announcements that lets us know what the class could use. I would also buy the class hand sanitzer, hand soaps and paper. Did u know the teachers have to buy their own paper in a lot of areas.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
