CVS: Zhu-Zhu Pets $3.33 Each!

December 3, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom 18 Comments

Zhu Zhu Pets

Last year I didn’t quite get the fuss over these furry little creatures, but they’ve sorta grown on my over the past year! CVS will have Zhu-Zhu Pets on sale for B1G1 next week. Combine that with available coupons to pick up some inexpensive gifts or stocking stuffers:

B1G1 Zhu-Zhu Pets, $9.99
B2G1 Zhu-Zhu Pets @CVS printable
$3.33 ea. wyb 3 after coupon!

There is also a 30% off your total purchase printable that will be valid on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the fine print in that coupon, you may be able to use it with the above deal to get them for $2.33 each!

Thanks, Time2Save!

I’m confused… you have to buy two to get one free? So it would cost $19.98 for three, right? Am I completely clueless here? :)

Mary, the B1G1 sale should fulfill the terms of purchasing the two necessary to use the coupon, so you’ll get a third one free as well. Does that make sense?

Could you get 4 for the price of one with this? The CVS sale is B1G1. The coupon is B2G1. So, pay for the 1st one, CVS sale covers the 2nd. The coupon covers the 3rd and the CVS sale covers the 4th. Right?

I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn’t that make it $2.50 each (total $9.99) or if the 30% coupon works, $1.75 each (total $6.99).

Is there a limit on the BOGO Zhu Zhu deal? Can you buy six Zhu Zhu pets and use two B2G1 coupons? If so, you would end up paying for one and getting 5 free.

The manager at my store wouldn’t allow me to buy 4 for the price of 1. The coupon beeped and she said the coupon applies to the 2 that I paid for and get 1 additional free. So, I bought 5 for the price of 2. I didn’t really know how to explain to her why I should be able to get 4 for the price of 1. Would someone please help explain to me so that I have a better understanding next time?

It wouldn’t let me use the cvs coupon. It did the extracard savings of b1g1, but it wouldn’t scan the coupon for the b3 g1. They wouldn’t override b/c they said computer wouldn’t take. Any ideas why I didn’t get this deal and others did?
