CVS: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock Moneymaker

July 27, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom 24 Comments

neutrogena-sunblock-moneymaker

Here’s a hot moneymaker at CVS!

I’m not sure I would make a special trip for this if it wasn’t convenient because they may or may not have them in stock, but if you’re heading to CVS anyway or going to be close to one, be sure to look for these:

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunlock (1 oz.), $1.99
Get $10 ECBs wyb 2
$2.00/1 Neutrogena Suncare printable
$10 moneymaker wyb 2 after coupons!

Have you found these at your store?

I looked for these but couldn’t find them. They didn’t have any Neutrogena suncare products that were less than 7.99 at my store.

Hey this is an awesome deal if they have it in stock! I love to use my easy care bucks for stuff that is hard to find coupons or sales on…such as bread, milk etc…good way to cut down that grocery bill!

I think this is a error. Did you already do this deal? The paper say 9.99 and up for the extra care bucks. Please help me on this deal.

      This isn’t an error, Debbie.
Sometimes a deal will pop up where you can use a different size item to generate the ECB’s-a glitch if you will.
Just have to act VERY quickly!

I couldn’t find them at my store (Frederick, MD) but I bought 2 of the face sticks at 6.99 and used the $2 off printables. i got the $10 ECBs back. I was prepared to return them if it didn’t work, but I was pleased that it did!

I searched our store high and low with no luck. Cheapest I saw were the face sticks for 6.99 but I really don’t need sunscreen so I didn’t try it.

Several of us tried this in different areas of AZ and had not luck at any stores…apparently, this item is a regional carry. Awesome deals to those who actually got to redeem it!!

I have tried several stores in the NorthWest Valley of Phoenix…and could not find this size bottle. I looked with sun care, with trial size, and the new travel section. Also, I looked with pool toys and summer seasonal section. ;-(

I only found the small ones for $6.49 however, they’re on sale – buy one and get second one for 50% off.

Are you sure the Neutrogena is buy one get one half off? At my store the CVS brand is BOGO 1/2 off, not the Neutrogena. The Neutrogena sticks were 7.99 at both my stores, but I did print some crt’s for $1 off cvs brand which i used for the lip balm cvs brand.

The last time a deal like this came around, I found this size Neutrogena sunblock in a clear bucket on the photo counter (of all places). Be sure to look around the checkout counter and maybe the pharmacy counter. It’s more like an “impulse buy” item, not the size they expect you to be shopping for.

After looking at two CVS & reading that NObody got this wonderful deal, I’m discouraged. I really advise you fellow savers not to get too hyped over this one. It was a nice thought, we all want to save (& gain!).

Found the SPF 30 sticks at CVS for $7.99 each – bought 2 with 2 $2 off coupons and got the $10 ECB – so $1 each for the sticks (which I love!) – pretty awesome deal! :)

No luck in FL, tried at three locations (there’s one on every corner down here) but there weren’t any cheaper than $8.99.
