You will need to make 2 trips to do this deal since the coupons say “limit 4 like coupons in same shopping trip”

Also you will be 9 cents short of $30 which PROBABLY will still give you the gas card but you won’t know til you do the deal

Yes, the money spent towards the gas card is saved on your cvs card and at the bottom of your reciept it says how much you need to get it.

How does this work if the coupons say “limit 4 like coupons per shopping trip”?

Hmm, you’ll have to break it up over two transactions and add some additional deals if you want to use the $10/$50. You’ll still earn the GC though, even if you shop at different stores!

for the first promo pay $5.82 get $4.18. If you have to split the purchase up into to purchases, you wont have one receipt showing a $30 purchase. Isnt that how the computer prints the gas coupon, by recognizing a $30 purchase seperately?

No, your extracare card tracks the purchases and adds up the total – you can buy the items seperately, in different stores or at different times and the coupon will print when you reach $30.

    Hey all….
as per your questions. Many CVS stores don’t take into account the “limit of 4” P&G coupons, however if you store does, then you can split up your transactions because this deal tracks on your Extra Care Card. So you can have different transactions with different purchase amounts that add up to a total of $30 for the gas deal. Also it has already been confirmed that the gas card prints at $29.42 or above…so $29.82 should print without any problems of falling short of $30

Even if I don’t get the gas card, that’s still a great deal!

With the buy one get one at $3 are you buying two products and only saving $3? How would that math work?

the coupon you are referring to is for $3 off a styler when you buy a shampoo or conditioner. The $1 coupon is then applied to the shampoo or conditioner

You could also make this a better deal if you printed out the $1.50/1 Skintimate Q’s this week right?

Also, for the Schick deal you could do the disposables and use the B1G1 from 6/26 SS, $1/1 from 7/17 SS, and the $2/1 Schick disposables CVS IP (I don’t think it is available anymore so you’d already have to have it printed). I’m not sure about the math on this, but its another possibility at least.

I just read all the comments and everything makes sense, however, I did the math and I still have a question :) The price for the shampoo/ styler is $4.97, roughly about $2.50 for easy math. My question is…since the styler is on sale for $2.50, won’t CVS mark down the coupon to $2.50 since they don’t do overage? So your oop would be greater if that’s the case. At least that has been my experience at CVS. I guess my question is — is it CVS’s policy to do overages and just that my store isn’t doing that? Thank you…I hope I understood this correctly, please forgive me if I’m wrong, new at all of this :)

My cvs still takes the entire 3.00 off and I used the 1.00 coupon for the shampoo as well. So basically I got both for .97. And if you buy enough at that price you also get the gas card.
