CVS: FREE Trident Layers Gum

July 20, 2010 by Barbara @ ClipperGirl's Savings Spot 10 Comments

If your store has a “Magic Coupon Machine” that prints CRTs when you scan your CVS Extra Care Card in store, make sure you scan your card this week because it’s reportedly giving out coupons for FREE Trident Layers Gum.

Thanks, Money Saving Madness!

I swear my last dentist appt was so good (very little cleaning needed) because of all the free gum I’ve been getting lately! Lol. Thanks for the heads up! :D

I got this coupon. It was free up to $1.29. Regular Trident was $1.29 but the “free” Trident Layers actually was priced at $1.49, so I had to pay the difference.

Also, there was another one for 79 cents off a “large” Dove candy (chocolate) bar (there were 4 flavors at my store). They were on sale for buy 2-get 1 free (89 cents each), so I used this coupon and $1 ECB and got 3 for free. It rang up as -1 cent, so they had to re-ring it to adjust the CRT down to 78 cents. Got 3 dark chocolate bars. Had one earlier tonight and it was pretty tasty. :)

Tried two CVS stores on Monday and there were NO pretzel m&m’s to be found at either store. Were they really wiped out in 2 days?

Supposedly the deal is working on other m&ms as well, but haven’t tried it myself.

My CVS (York, PA) said they got an e-mail from corporate that there was a supply issue from M&Ms on the pretzel ones so they are substituing the other ones. Mine printed the $1 ECB and then I used all the B1G1 coupons to get them for .25/each – it worked on every one of the flavors – I ended up with 20 bags total – my CVS employees were great about it!

I had used up all my B1-G1 m&m’s coupons a few weeks ago when they were B1-G1 at CVS & Rite Aid. After the first coupon, the CVS cashier noticed it was up to 89 cents, so I had to pay the 10 cents difference. Rite Aid there was no difference to pay-they all came up as free. Both stores have a B1-G1 policy where they both come out as free, so I used all those coupons there. The 75 cents off 2 that was a regional coupon wasn’t in my coupons (PA) so I don’t have those.

I did get rainchecks for both CVS stores so I’ll check back again later. I expect the way the pretzel ones are being heavily advertised & “pushed” with the different store sales, that supply will be an issue. I did ask at one store if they could substitute another flavor and maybe “force print” the ECB if it didn’t print but the “kids” running the registers didn’t think so. Didn’t try, but I have rainchecks, so I’ll get them another time. :)

I have gotten mostly Dove chocolate coupons, but I also got a $3.00 off Revlon coupon. I was hoping for another so I could combine it with their BOGO sale. I got 3 almost free Dove bars when I used two of the Dove coupons. My kids (and husband were thrilled).

i only got the dove chocolate coupon. but i did get a $4 coupon when you buy both diapers and wipes. No brand/size specified and my local cvs have some cvs diapers and pampers on clearance for 75% off. I was able to grab cvs diapers jumbo pack $2.37 and cvs wipes $1.99 i only paid 38cents with tax. the pampers diapers were $4.25 for the jumbo and i saw one box 60 count size 6 pampers for $6.
