Read the fine print! The coupon says FREE at the top, but the fine print says “Up to $0.79 value”. Our PA store has them priced for $1.19, so I actually ended up spending $0.40 on this item. Not a deal if you pay for something that is supposed to be free.

The SAME thing happened to me. I saw Free Milky Way so I picked one up and sure enough, I ended up paying for it. Maybe the Dove bar is cheaper but definitely check before you buy!

When I bought it, the Dove rang up as $0.79, and it said “Saved $0.40” right next to it.

I saw the “up to $0.79 while I was looking and I actually asked a manager because every bar I saw (Milky Way and Dove) were all $1.19. I thought maybe one of the bars was on sale and they just hadn’t put a sticker on it. She said, “No, but if you buy one it will take $0.79 off of it.” Well I’m sorry, that’s not FREE. It’s misleading and sneaky.

My dove candy bar was FREE. My receipt states: 1 dove milk cho. 1.3Z .79F Saved .40. Then down below in the coupon category, it says 1 coupon .79-. So, my dove candy bar was FREE.

Mine was free also. Rang up 79 cents and next to it saved 40 cents. Then below it took off 79 cents cvs mfr coupon.
