unfortunately, this won’t be a freebie because this rebate isn’t valid at cvs. the form says at participating retailers, and i called P&G’s customer service to double check that it would qualify, but the rep said the rebate is only valid if you purchase through e-retailers such as amazon.com, soap.com, etc. so this is a no go.

Interesting – I unsuccessfully looked for dryer bar refills at Kroger, Meijer, Target, Walgreens and CVS and then emailed P&G and was told ” I would like to let you know that the Bounce Refills Bars should be hitting the market soon. We planned to have them on the shelf before the end of February but it make take longer than that for smaller retail stores to order the product. I do not want you to think that we will not honor your rebate. I do ask that once you do find a Bounce Refill Bar to call us and alert us of the situation that you are going through and we should be able to help you from there.”

The refill bars are not what is on sale at CVS, it is the Dryer Bar itself.

This may depend on area then. I haven’t checked my CVS but my local grocery stores carry the refills. @ Jessica, I have found the CS doesn’t always know what they are talking about. I think it is worth a shot. Usually “participating retailers” end up being wherever you can purchase it.

This rebate won’t work at CVS! I just had my rebate returned to me because there is a handful of retailers you can purchase these bars at and receive a refund. It is Amazon, P& G store and a couple of others, not CVS. I got mine at Target and they said they won’t honor it because this is not a participating retailers.

I just got off the phone 1800 5 bounce with them and IT IS VALID AT ANY RETAILER, she was certain of that. If you find the refill bar at a retailer then IT IS A PARTICIPATING RETAILER – whew I have been working on bounce deals for my mom and I for two weeks ! I dont know if the cvs sale is for refills because they sell refills but the one shown is not a refill. However in this weeks paper there is a 50 c coupon and that makes the bar 5.00 even when bought at full price. that = free
dont forget this one allows 2 PER HOUSEHOLD !

I just called the 1-800 number on the form and if you don’t buy it at one of the four e-retailers, you won’t get the rebate. The woman I spoke to said it’s an online-only promotion.

oh well ill just wait and see if mines returned! mine was mailed out today and it was for the bar not refill. i never could find the refill where i live its ok either way this was gonna be a money maker for me so no lose.

Someone’s coupon website posted about this dryer bar a few weeks back ….letting us know that Walgreens had them on sale for $3.99 and then with rebate it would be free.
Well I bough them…sent in rebate and got it back in the mail saying that my store was not a participating retailer.
I called customer service…but they wouldn’t budge.
Watch the fine print in rebates….this is the second time this happened to me.
