I just want to clarify what you said…

“*CVS registers are now programmed to only allow one identical ECB deal per transaction so you will only get one ECB when combining all (4) deals into one transaction.”

So, If I bought four ECB items at one time & they’re each $2.00, I’d receive one ECB receipt that said $8.00?

Normally, I plan out if I can use my ECB on that shopping trip. If so, then I rarely have to remember I have one to use. However, that can always change so I thank you for this update!! : )

Leigh — That’s what I’ve already seen at CVS — the ECBs that are limit 2 or above are combined into one ECB if you buy more than one in a transaction. I bet this change will save CVS lots of register paper across the course of a year!

Now, when it happens (only get 1 receipt but buy more then 1 ECB) I hope to remember to look at the $ amount I panic. *hee* Thanks again for the “heads up” & clarification!

Besides saving paper, it’ll also save us (the customers) hassle from having to remember how many ECB’s we have. : ) I can have just as hard a time from the coupons I get from their kiosk. *hee* For that reason, I put a small envelope in my coupon file for “CVS” & “Walgreens”. Otherwise, they’d get lost in w/ my other coupons.
