The “sneak peek” I saw said the ECB were only valid for the Aveeno products starting at $3.49.

Maybe the ads are different, because my local says “When you buys (2) Aveeno Moisturizing get $7 ECB” and in fine print “excludes clearance items” but includes “moisturizing lotion or cream 0.5-18oz”!!!

I just went to the CVS website to view the ad and it reads – moisturizing lotion or cream .5-18 oz. Buy 2 and get $7 extra bucks. Excludes clearance items.

FYI-I just got back from my CVS which activates the new ad at 5pm and this is a no go. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

I went this morning & got 2 of the 1oz lotions from the travel aisle and used the $3/2 coupon from the 9/11 ss. There is one in the 10/30 ss also. The ecb did not print but I showed the cashier the cvs ad stating 0.5-18 oz were included so I got my 7ecb. All in all a 7.02 moneymaker!

The $3/2 coupons exclude trial and 2.5 oz sizes. You used the coupon incorrectly. :(

Same here — I tried to talk the manager into it, but she wasn’t willing to push the extra bucks through. Another cashier told me it worked with the small bottles of moisturizer that were priced at around $3.50, but they were already sold out of those.

I didnt get the EB either, but when I showed the ad to the manager…she forced the 7.00 EB for me..also the $3.00/ 2 cpn is not for the travel sized aveeno..it says 2.5 oz or larger

I also went to CVS and bought the 2 1oz bottles of aveeno lotion. (They are in the travel size area of the store). I purchased them and used the $3/2 aveeno coupon. They had to adjust the coupon to $2.98 but that made them free. Then the $7 EB would not print but, I showed them the ad and they forced the EB to print without any trouble making this a $7 MONEY MAKER!!!!

The ad has two different Aveno deals, I work at a cvs and we have had way too many people coming in trying to do this deal. They argue with us (just like the Covergirl Face Makeup coupon) and tell us they read it on the internet. This post just needs to be removed, most people won’t read the entire post & comments to see if it is even working. Then they come into the store and get mad when it doesn’t work.

Too all of those that got their extra bucks, hope it was worth it. Those cashiers probably got wrote up or even worse fired.

This makes no sense – why would they be fired? The ad clearly states what products are included, and the trial sized Aveeno moisturizing lotion is included.

I was able to get it in TN, but my sister who is CT was not. all depends on the cashiers i guess.

I went in MA and checked the circular before buying the items. It said .5 oz or larger-the travel size bottles are 1 oz each. The cashier was aware that the ECB wouldn’t print and gave me a $7 gift card without me even having to say anything.
Not really our fault that CVS forgot to add an exlusion for travel sizes in the circular. These are tough times and every cent counts!

This worked perfectly fine at my CVS today. Bought 2 travel sized lotions, used the $3/2 coupp (which they adjusted down to $2.97), then received the $7 ECB!!!!! Awesome!!!!

For all you people doing this deal by buying any size 2.5 and under & are using the $3/2 coupon you are misusing the coupon! It clearly states on the coupon EXCLUDES TRIAL AND 2.5 SIZES!!!!

I agree with Sarah, you are committing coupon fraud when using the coupons on items that they clearly state that they are NOT intended for. Be well aware that they CAN look you up to see who you are when using your extrabucks card and know exactly what you purchased and with which coupon if they feel like pursuing the fraudulent use.

It is misuse of coupons like this that is slowly making the rules tougher on coupons and why those of us trying to save a penny or two are getting walked all over with these new ridiculous rules.

What irks me more is that if you are buying the trial size you don’t even NEED to use a coupon for it to be a money maker! Using the coupon is not only fraudulent but also greedy.

Texas ad said excludes moisturizing bar, men, baby, trail, and clearance. Is trail the same as travel?
