I have been to 2 CVS stores this week & 1 last week & none of the coupon matching were working. 2 said to try again later & the other store said they needed to put paper in & they didn’t have time to. Has anyone else had this problem? I guess I’ll have to go back again to try & get the Halloween coupon

We have 4 or more CVS stores within 10 miles of my house. 3 of the 4 stores almost always have broken machines. Sometimes, you get lucky. Sometimes, you don’t.

Sometimes the coupons will print on the end of your receipt if the machine is not working – buy something small and see what comes out.

My store has a retarded machine as well but the cashiers just told me to ask them to scan my card at the registers and the CRT coupons will print there for me.

Sunny – try asking your cashiers to help! And, if they seem annoyed by it, since they have to help a customer, maybe they’ll actually report the broken machines and it could be fixed!

Sunny – I had the same problem at one of my CVS stores. Thankfully, I had been to another and that one worked.

With my Halloween coupon, I bought 3 decorative stand ups (1 cute ghost, 1 black kitten, and 1 pumpkin)! They are buy 2 for $3, or buy 1 for $1.99. Perfect! =)

On the same day I got the $5.00 Halloween merchandise coupon I got a $1.50 on past summer purchases credit, and combined both and bought a light up pumpkin. Then, later in the week, I went in another CVS and scanned my card again, still hoping to get the $7/$15 Revlon coupon and instead I got another $5.00 Halloween coupon! I used this one to buy the $1.99 M&M candy bowl I’ve had my eye on and a Halloween themed SoftSoap dispenser with a dayglo haunted house on it for $3.29. Thank you CVS!!

      -‘candy corn’ string of lights
      -light-up pumpkin
-plastic sword (perfect to compliment my son’s samuri costume!)

      yay! i love free stuff.

i got the $5 off Halloween print out today and grabbed a vinyl tablecloth that rang up $1.99…i had some other items to buy as well and when the clerk scanned the coupon it took $5 off the entire order…i got the tablecloth, ready to feed Similac ($4.39, 30% off), and a sympathy card ($1.99) for just $1.91 out of pocket…didn’t use extra bucks but did use the $3 Similac printable.

You can also use the Herbal Essences CRT on the travel size.
I’ve also received two $5 Halloween CRT! I got a light up pumpkin the first time and used it on my son’s Halloween costume the second time (costumes are 25% off this week).

I have gotten the $5 Halloween CRT twice. First, I bought a cylinder with 40 glowsticks ($3.99) and 4 treat bags ($.33 ea). The glow sticks are perfect to hang on trick or treat bags and wrap around wrists and ankles when trick or treating. Second time got a light up pumpkin ($5.99)

I’ve gotten two Halloween CRTs too! The first time I got two treat bags and the big candy bowl. I had an ECB to cover the difference. Today I got two pairs of socks. I was disappointed they didn’t have any boys costumes. They also have those treat containers that look like Chinese food ones for $.99 each. I thought about getting those for my sons’ preschool teachers but decided they don’t need Halloween gifts! I also made a woman’s day who was looking at the costume accessories. I told her to scan her card at the coupon center and she might get lucky. She did and was so grateful! She must have thanked me 5 times! I love spreading the CVS love!

I’ve received 2 of the $5 Halloween CRT’s! With both I got the No Carve Pumpkin Kits (retail $4.99). I didn’t buy any other Halloween stuff with it and they still accepted it.

Went to the CVS magic machine again last night and they are giving out the $5 on Halloween AGAIN! I got candy early in the week with the $5 on Halloween stuff, candy works 2/$5. Last night I got the coupon again and it expires today 10/8 and got more plus I got $3 in rewards because now I have spent a total of $10 this week on each of my cards and got $3 back in rewards. I have a total now of 16 free bags of candy and got $9 back in rewards. One of my cards I got the free coupon and “paid” for it, it comes out free in Michigan, to tax, and another $5 Halloween printed out so I got two more bags…Today is the only day to do it, coupon expires 10/8 but it is definately a new coupon..Love free candy!

I have recieved the $5 coupon two days in a row now!!! Which for me is a total of $20 in free halloween stuff because I have my old red cvs card and my new white card, you are allowed to have two and can scan both. Each print the same coupons, just have to have the cashier scan both cards at checkout :)

A few days ago I bought the Charlie Brown Vampire collectible for $6.99 – $5 Halloween coupon = $1.99. Sweet!
Today I bought a pack of Halloween favor bags for 99cents and Wisk Deep Clean on sale for $4.99 regular price is $8.99. I used self checkout and scanned the $5 Halloween coupon which was accepted. The machine asks you to place the coupon into the coupon slot. I did and the machine kept asking for the coupon and eventually the machine voided the coupon amount because it didn’t register the coupon as being entered into the coupon receptacle slot.. I asked the manager for help and told her what had happened. She said it was highly unlikely that it would accept the coupon with just a purchase of a 99cent Halloween item. She opened the coupon receptacle and handed me back my coupon with attitude I asked her to void my purchase which she did. I then rescanned the 2 items again then the coupon and it went through, Then I put the coupon into the receptacle when the machine prompted. This time the machine continued onto the next step which was to enter the amount due. $1.07. I showed the manager and she shrugged her shoulders and said “it’s nice to see that people like to be dishonest.” I said “how am I being dishonest if the machine accepted the coupon?” She then just turned away and helped another customer. I think she gave me attitude because she ended up looking stupid.
If you read on the coupon, it does say “savings applied to total purchase with specified product”
I’m happy with my free favor bags and dollar wisk!
    I’m going again tomorrow!
