CVS: $5 Bonus eGift Card with $25 GC Purchase Offer

April 29, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 10 Comments

The CVS gift card offer is back! Right now for every $25 in eGift Cards that you order from CVS.com, you’ll receive a $5 bonus GC, up to $30 in bonus GCs in a single transaction.

These eGift Cards can be printed out from your computer and used in store just like a regular gift card, so you frequent CVS shoppers could basically think of this as free cash! Find more details here.

This offer is only valid for a limited time.

Check out the current CVS deals to see what kind of bargains you can score with your GCs!

Thanks, Money Saving Madness!

Do you have to use all $25.00 in one transaction though?

No you don’t have to spend it all at once. You print it out and it has a bar code and works just like a gift card. Both the gift card you purchase and the free gift card that you receive work in this way. They arrive in the email box, separate, like printable gift cards. I’ve done this several times when they offered this in the past. Once, I ordered a $150 gift card and received a $30 one free! Free money! Since I shop at CVS a lot, including prescriptions, it goes fast.

I love this offer. Last year when this was offered, I bought $50 and got $10 for FREE. It lasted me many months since I only used it to pay when ECB’s can’t cover everything. I don’t carry cash and it’s nice not to see a credit card charge for $0.50 here or $2 there.

This was fun! I put a picture of my face on the card in case I lose it someone else can’t look like me. I hope? If I thought ahead I could have put a message on saying “Cashier, if this is not the face of your customer, don’t accept this card.”

This isn’t generating the $5 bonus gift card. Was it just for a limited time?

I also was wondering if the $5 bonus was still being offered. Last time I got it, I missed the $5 bonus by a couple of hours :-(
