Crest Candy Confessions + NEW Halloween Savings at Walmart! #CrestHalloween

October 30, 2018 by Tara Kuczykowski Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored conversation on behalf of Crest; all opinions and text are my own. Thanks for supporting us and the brands we love!

Let’s talk Halloween candy for a moment… Do you have a favorite? You know, the one you always dug out of the bottom of your pumpkin bucket first. Or did you just go for the full size treasures that certain houses always handed out first? Yeah, we took note and always hit those houses first, as do my own kids these days.

My youngest son and I were chatting exactly about this on the way to school this morning. We agreed that chalky Smarties and Sweetarts are pretty much at the bottom of our lists and anything chocolatey-caramelly comes out on top — with extra bonus points if it contains a bit of saltiness from pretzels or peanuts!

The temptation is real, folks! And not just for kids… In an informal survey by Crest (Crest Candy Confessions — love it!), 86% of parents said they eat candy that was given to their child while trick-or-treating. And a full 44% of parents admitted to eating more Halloween candy than their children.

But this is the part I found the most interesting: Only 48% of adults enforce a stricter teeth brushing/flossing routine on Halloween for themselves. However, 70% parents enforce stricter teeth brushing/routines on Halloween for their children.

Where do you fall on the spectrum? I’ve never really considered it, but thinking back, I definitely am more vigilant about reminding my kids to brush their teeth well after eating lots of Halloween candy. But at the same time, I don’t change my own habits drastically — although, that could be because I generally have better oral care habits than my kids to begin with.

Either way, we can all make sure our oral care game is on top by stocking up on Crest at Walmart. AND thanks to the trifecta of a new Crest coupon, a Crest Ibotta rebate, and new price rollbacks, we can save some hard-earned cash in the process!

To get these savings, you’ll need one of the $1 off ONE Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel coupons that you can find in the 10/29 Brandsaver newspaper insert from Sunday. Here are a couple of ideas to help you get the most for your money:

Crest Pro Health toothpaste (Clean Mint, Whitening, & Sensitive), $4.97 thru 11/20
Crest Complete toothpaste (Deep Clean, Scope Outlast, Dual Blast, Scope Whitening, & Whitening), $4.97 thru 11/20

$1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel, exp. 11/10/18 (P&G 10/28/18) [3-oz.+;]
$3.97 after coupon and rebate!

Crest Gum & Enamel Repair Toothpaste (4.1-oz.), $6.97
$1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel, exp. 11/10/18 (P&G 10/28/18) [3-oz.+;]
$2/1 Crest Gum & Enamel Repair Toothpaste (Ibotta Deposit) [3.0-oz.+]
$3.97 after coupon and rebate!

Additional rollback prices:

  • Crest 3DW toothpaste (Artic Triple & Radiant Triple), $8.97 thru 12/25
  • Crest Pro Health Advanced Deep Clean Triple, $8.97 thru 12/25

Halloween just wouldn’t be the same without Halloween candy… So bring it on, because Crest has you covered!

P.S. Check out this adorable and hilarious video showing what happens when Crest gives unsuspecting kids healthy Halloween treats! I laughed until I cried when the little girl said, “I threw up.”

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
