My son’s “firsts” were captured on home video. We have an old video camera that takes cassettes that was given to us by my grandparents. We need to upgrade but haven’t had the funds to do so lately. We are trying to have another baby and would love one of these to capture more “firsts” with our next one!

My favorite home video was when we were at the park and I was pushing my daughter in a baby swing while my son explored. He looked down a storm drain and then asked me what echoes ate. It was so funny listening to me stumbling through the words to explain it to him. And he walked in one day while I was watching it (he’s 20 now). He totally freaked out that this kid would ask such a question. He didn’t quite grasp that this was HIM who was doing the asking, even after I explained it to him.
