I use coconut oil instead of body lotion and as a mild sunscreen, and I add a touch to my hair too!

Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!

Wondering how this gets down to $11.68????

Sorry, that was a mistake from an older post I used as a template.

The price on this is actually going up. I bought it in February for around $11.

There’s a blurb on the Nutiva website that explains that the price of coconut has gone up and they were forced to raise some of their prices. A better deal is the two 54-ounce containers for $36 (https://www.amazon.com/Nutiva-Organic-Coconut-54-Ounce-Containers/dp/B003QDRJXY/ref=sr_1_2?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1311184796&sr=1-2) which is 33 cents an ounce instead of 50 cents an ounce. Really, though, that only makes sense if you’re really into coconut oil…like me :)

Do you all just use it as a body product or do you cook with it as well? I’ve been eating a ton of Nutiva’s Coconut Manna. Its soooo good!

I do cook with it as well. It makes scrambled eggs soooo delicious!
