The limit for the .99 cheese slices is 1 in my region (TX) and the price for the 2nd cheese is 2.49.

In WA it is limit one as well, and the second one is $3.49 making them $1.75 each

Charlene noted that many stores do not enforce Super Coupon limits. I’m assuming that’s what you’re referring to. Safeway isn’t local to me, so I’m not an expert on their policies. Thanks for the info!

I have one store that enforces super coupons and one that allows you to purchase as many as you like. Also the precoupon amount of the Oscar Meyer and Kraft cheese can help get the total to $20. Oscar Meyer ar $2.14- so that counts as $4.28 toward the $20. The cheese is $3.49. Don’t forget the Digiorno Melts which are free right now after coupon and doubles. I did this deal today (with no doubles) and spent $8 oop including a $4 watermelon, you certainly don’t have to spend $20.

Charlene does your Safeway double? Mine never has! You’re right though the $20 oop is fairly easy to come up with before the coupons, because it’s the retail price of the cheese and hot dogs. Mine however was a stickler about the 1 item limit. It was automatic in the register, charged me regular price for the second cheese, I thought I’d try! I just had them take it off.
My favorite deal this week was the 2lbs of FREE strawberries with $10.00 produce purchase. Again, the strawberries were $4.79 ea before the coupon and club card so I didn’t have to buy much more to get to the $10.00 . Love working the deals!
