Do you know if you have to be a brand new customer to get the money? My husband and I have a savings account through ING but not a checking account. We were thinking of opening a new checking account to get the free money.

The fine print says “Bonus only available for new Electric Orange checking.”, so it sounds like existing customers will get it as long as it’s a new account.
