My ad says that they are not taking the
kmart savings coupons. Does that mean the $5/$50?
    Can anyone report back? Thanks!

Good question, Mrs. Den. Central Ohio isn’t one of the lucky areas that’s doing the promotion, and I can’t make out the fine print in the online ad. Hopefully someone will stop by that can answer, or maybe you can contact your local store directly.

    Mrs. Den,

The Kmart savings coupons are the manufacturer coupons that are good only at Kmart. They can be found in store or in their sales circular. Their bar code usually starts with a number 4. Even the fine print in the coupon states they are not eligible for doubling.

I was able to use the $5/50 coupon but it of course didn’t double. I’ve read that in some areas the coupon was refused by cashiers.

When I was at Kmart yesterday, there were notices saying the 75 coupon limit was a misprint – they’re only accepting 25 per customer.

I will have to find out if the Kmart in Franklin is participating in the doubleing. I will be close on Saturday and it ould be worth taking a look.

I called the Kmart on Bethel. The person who answered said they were not giving double coupons this week.
Then I checked the website, entered my zip code to get the local flyer, and the online flyer had the double coupon notice.
So I called another store (Grove City) to see what they would say. The person who answered said that you had to have the flyer to get double coupons. And I did not get a flyer in my Sunday paper.
Has anyone found a Kmart in Franklin county that is participating?

My online insert shows my closest store as participating, but the insert I received in the paper yesterday does not. I have not called them directly yet.

So, if i use a coupon that is for more than 2$ will they make it 4$ or just the amount of the coupon? (For example the Huggies $5 off- would they just take $5 off or $7?) I have never done this yet and I am sooo excited!

Coupons for more than $2 will just be that amount, so your $5 Huggies coupon would just be the $5.

I had an oops at Kmart today…all my stuff was free….AND I used the $5/50…..but that was more than the sales tax so I was in the negative…so quick had to throw in a few items at the register to get it so I could pay something!! LOL

I called the Reynoldsburg store and even though it showed up online that it was super double, the employee said the nearest store that offered the double coupons with Chillicothe – eekkk, that’s an hour and a half away. I also called the corporate customer service. She said all Super Kmarts were doing it and some of the regular Kmarts were. After being on hold she said that there were less than 5 regular stores in Ohio participating. I told her they need to fix the website because it’s false advertising.

I was at our Iowa Kmart for doubling. The registers are posted with the misprint, allowing only 25 per item transactions. I had called corporate Kmart Saturday for clarification. My daughter and I seeing as we had to drive quite a way to get to the store were allowed to do two separate 25 item transactions and the management was helpful. We were able to use the $5.00/$50.00 Kmart coupon page on each transaction and everything doubled right this time. We saved $298.00 on 116 items spending only $90.00. I took advantage of picking up Catalina deals for Renuzit, Purex, etc when you buy $20.00 get $5.00 back and the General Mills buy $10.00 get $3.00 back and rolled these into our next transactions making it an amazing Doubling Day.
My Out of Pocket may be higher than others who look for the FREEBIEs, but we stock up on things we use when I can save $2.00 off like trash bags, laundry detergent, cat litter etc.

For those wondering about COLUMBUS, OH…I know that I did the double coupon thing last summer at the S. Hamilton Rd. location near Eastland Mall. I haven’t tried yet this time around but I plan to in the next day or so. I just figured they would since they did it before and also since I entered in the zipcode and it did show up on the circular…but since some of you have said you had issues with this then who knows.. Kmart is kind of bootleg sometimes!

Let us know what you find out, please! That’s the store that’s closest to me too, but my paper insert doesn’t mention the double coupons, although the online ad does. It’s one of my least favorite places to shop because it’s kind of run-down and dirty, but double coupons would go a long way toward getting me in the door!

I didn’t stop into the store today but I did call…a girl that answered the phone at the service desk said that they were not doubling coupons. Kind of bummed..but I don’t want to go there and fill a cart full of stuff only to be told they won’t do it..blah..But thanks for the tip about the Buddies soap bars- I got several today for free at Kroger! Oh, and FYI since you said you are close to the Eastland Kmart..at the Kroger next to it they have Advil 24 Ct marked down to $3..on Advil’s site you can print out $2 off Advil PM coupons..as many as you want actually. They didn’t have any Advil PM marked down- just the regular Advil, but the coupon worked just fine on it..so you can get as many Advil’s as you want for $1 a pop!

I probably know the answer already, BUT is FL Kmart’s doubling? FL never doubles anything =(
Does it specifically say on the online ad that they are doubling?

Yeah, Laura, the front of your ad will have a box about the super doubles if they’re participating. Sadly they’re not doing it here either.

I and my friends were actually looking through the good secrets located on your site while immediately I had an awful suspicion I never expressed respect to the web blog owner for those techniques. Most of the young men are already certainly passionate to read them and have in effect sincerely been loving these things. We appreciate you simply being really kind as well as for making a decision on these kinds of notable useful guides millions of individuals are really desperate to be informed on. Our honest regret for not expressing gratitude to sooner.
