been to 3 walgreens, none have this sale running. however, i did try to buy the celsius tea which is priced at $4.99, when I got to the register the cashier informed me the qpon was expired. She gave me this look as if I was trying to pull a fast one on her. then I went back in the store to get the pilot pens, and when I tried to use the walgreens IVC coupon the coupon would not work on them, so then she gave me the same look again. I finally gave up. Not a good day to be at walgreens.

I’m in Central Jersey and the registers are now issuing the RR’s but not the sale prices for those products, so not a very good deal. Told that only “a few” stores in the entire NJ/NY/DEL region are participating in the ad listed here. My local one honored the prices once for me as a customer service issue based on the printout I had, but won’t repeat it.

Ok ladies and professional couponers…I have a question! I have the 4 day sale going on at walgreens, and i have 3 $4.50 RR to use (from the razors 2 weeks ago). I have not been able to figure out how to “roll” my rewards, and usually just end up losing them on products and having none left. Walgreens probably loves me…lol. Can any of you experts walk me thru a transaction to roll these rewards, and help me save some money? I just don’t seem to “get it”.

    Thanks so much!
    Jo

Jo, basically “rolling” just means that you’re using your RRs to purchase deals that also produce RRs. For example, you could use one of your $4.50 RRs to purchase the Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Daily Oral at $4.99. You’ll pay $0.49 out of pocket and get another $4 RRs that you can spend on something else.

The only think you have to watch is that you will not be able to roll RRs on the same deal (and sometimes manufacturer). So you can’t use RRs earned buying Crest toothpaste to buy more Crest toothpaste. The RRs won’t print. Every once in awhile there is an exception to this on a particular deal, and I will generally blog about it to let everyone know.

    Tara,
Thanks for the advice! Maybe I will just buy 3 of those then and retain most of my rewards. Can I buy all 3 at the same time, or will it only “spit” out 1 reward back if I don’t do multiple transactions? I haven’t exactly figured out how THAT works either, so I do numerous transactions evrytime I am there, just to make sure I get my rewards back.
Your site has been very helpful and appreciated by me!!

    Blessings,
    Jo

Yes, you’ll have to do separate transactions because you can only earn one RR per deal in a transaction. So if you bought two Crest toothpastes generating RRs, you’d only get one RR. But if you bought a Crest toothpaste and an Aveeno that both had RR deals, you should receive them both. Hope that makes sense!

Several of the RR freebie deals aren’t printing in my area Oak Park, Forest Park, Chicago, IL. Crest, Socks, and Celsius tea are the ones that I checked on. There is a $3 Celsius tea coupon in one of the coupon inserts. I’m not sure which week it’s from, perhaps 6/20. It’s small and easy to miss. I’ve been to most of the Walgreens in my area and the RR items that aren’t working have been pulled from the shelves or the sale tags have been removed. Also, the La Source coupon for Crabtree & Evelyn is fake. This was a coupon that was offered on self.com June/09. I should have double checked before being embarrassed at C & E. Oops.
