Pinecone Research Open Again (Cash Surveys)

June 9, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 27 Comments

Update: Wow, that was quick. It looks like they’ve already reached their target number of signups. I’ll let you know if I see them open the application again!

If you followed along with the comments a few weeks ago when I asked DSM readers what are their favorite survey sites, you know that Pinecone Research was by far one of the most popular sites mentioned. You’ll be thrilled to know that I just got word that they’re accepting applications again!

They pay $3 per completed survey via PayPal and occasionally will mail out products for panelists to test. I’ve always found them to be pleasant and responsive to work with, and they pay very quickly.

Pinecone is a pretty exclusive site, and it’s not often that they open up their membership registration. So I’d recommend applying now if this sounds like something you’d be interested in!

I signed up from the last time they had open registration and am very glad I did. I’ve never been a part of any other survey program, but I’ve definitely read that some are shady or take forever to see rewards. Aside from the occasional update-your-info sort of e-mail all of the other projects you get e-mail for are ones you already qualify for and you get $3 for each. I also got to sample a product! If you’re debating whether or not to do it, sign up! I promise I”m just a regular money-saving person and not getting paid to say this!

I would recommend them, too! Excellent survey site to work with and they pay within 2 weeks if you opt for check in the mail.

I signed up last year sometime. It’s been very pleasant working with them. They pay quickly. Sometimes the surveys are a bit lengthy though. I would definitely recommend them.

this link brings up “surveyhead” and offered a $1 survey. Is this the right site? I registered for acorn a couple months ago at this site but never heard back:

the site you reference looks very different.

I also would highly recommend them. I joined the last time you posted this on your site and I have made $21 so far. I know that isn’t much but considering the surveys are from 5 to 15 minutes each (at least the ones I have done) and you get paid one week later (I have them mail me a check) I think it is pretty good. It is a lot better than doing the surveys were you get points for stuff but I never seem to have enough points for anything I want!

I also was taken to the Survey head which I don’t think is the same as Pincone-I then went to http://www.Pineconeresearch.com and it is totally different yet they aren’t taking new members!

Your registration link brings up a site for Surveyhead. I’ve participated in these before and after you spend 10 minutes answering their “qualifying questions,” they kick you out without making a dime. I just went through one of their surveys and that’s exactly what happened. Now they have my e-mail address so am sure I’ll be bombarded with spam. Where is this Pinecone Research site?

Thanks, everyone. Pinecone gave me a special link and it only had a limited number of signups available. I had no idea that you all would reach the limit within an hour! I’ll let you know when it’s available again.

I’ve been a part of Pinecone Research for about a month now and just cashed $15 worth of checks! I’ve sampled one product and another is on its way to me. I really enjoy Pinecone and have had nothing but positive experiences (with real monetary results) every time.

I signed up with Pinecone Research as well, and I have sampled 3 products so far, and earned around $30.00 dollars. Its just adding up in my Paypal account. It comes in so handy having money in the paypal acct for when ever we purchase something through itunes or even ebay. I love this program!

How do you know if your registration was accepted? I used the link and filled everything it – was a Pinecone registration form – and hit submit. Haven’t received anything from them or any sign in information though. Just wondering what happens after you submit your info.

I signed up with Pinecone in December 09. On average, I get about 3-4 surveys a month. I love them and they pay QUICKLY. I would not recommend Surveyhead. I ‘ve been waiting 8 weeks to get pay and they never respond to any of my e-mails.

I signed up when you mentioned it before, got accepted and have been receiving surveys about 3-4 a month. They take about 15 mins are easy and if I do it on a Friday, they send me a check by Thursday or Friday the next week. It’s great, Thanks Tara

I was wondering what other survey paying companies are there that are legit? I was also wondering I am trying to find some sort of work from home job but all the ones I find you have to pay money to do them does anyone no of a legitimate work from home that you don’t have to pay out for? Thanks for any information.

They are definitely great and so easy to work with! I have a sample product right now, though when I read the letter that came with it they said I might have to send it back. Do you know how often that happens with sample products? I tossed the box already (didn’t read close enough first!) and it says to keep it so now I am worried. Since you have an affiliation with them (special link) I thought maybe you would know?

I have been doing surveys with Pinecone for several months. I have made about $30 so far. Never had any problem They send me an email about a survey. Then they send an email to remind me if I had not done it yet. Very nice to work with. Always get my check for $3 in the mail within one week.

I’ve been with Pinecone since Feburary and it is by far the best! I always receive my checks via mail in 1 week. I’ve already made $30.
Also, I just went directly to their site and their was still a link up that said they are accepting applications. I’m totally telling my mom to sign-up.

Pinecone only opens their registration application periodically. I’ll post when I see it’s open again; however, it’s usually not open very long.

For the future, what is the site’s address? I click on the sign up button, from the photo you placed, but it does not take me to their site! I just wanted to research the company!

I signed up through one of these coupon website yesterday and received an email from Karen Scott, the admin who sent me a link to answer a few questions as part of registering for future surveys. I’m suppose to hear back soon. After maybe 5 tries over a period of a couple years I finally made it to registration anyway. Yeah. I say to keep trying. Just beware that you give yourself a week before applying again, else you’ll void your applications.
