Walmart Deals New 1/5/09

January 5, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 16 Comments

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

Here are the newest deals to be found at Walmart! For the full list of current deals check out the Walmart Deals page!

Keep in mind that Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed prices. Also, be aware that at times the coupons themselves may vary by region.

You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.

Have you found any stellar bargains at Walmart lately? Please feel free to email me so I can share them (while giving you credit, of course)! Along the same lines, if you find a deal is no longer valid because the coupon has expired or reached its print limit, it’s very helpful if you let me know so I can keep it current. Thanks for your help!

Those who did not get the 50 cent coupon with Coupons.com before it was deleted you can go to the link above, play the game, then it will ask for your email address and first name then take you to the print function to get the 50 cent coupon. When doubled at Kroger it makes it free. This should help those who did not get the 50 cent before making the bathroom tissue free. When playing the game use the arrows to the left to move the dogs up and down, do not click out of the game or you will not be able to go back in to play again and get your free coupon. Once you play the game recognizes your computer and you cannot do it again. Oh, it takes 1 minute to play the game so it is worth the time.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to print about 95% of the coupons I wanted to, off of the Walmart deals page. Most of them said this campaign is over! Do I need to print them the exact same day I get the post? I am new to this!

Thanks, Elizabeth! Actually, the $0.50 off still keeps popping up on Coupons.com too.

Ashley, I rely heavily on my readers to let me know if coupon campaigns are over on the full deals page. That page consists of previous deals that I’ve posted that may or may not still be working. I try to clean it up regularly, but if I’ve already printed a coupon, I may not be able to tell that it’s a dead link because it will tell me I’ve already printed it. If you could email me which ones did not work for you, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have another question…I read Walmart’s coupon policies…when it says they accept store coupons, does that mean they accept other Store’s coupons? Not just their aadvertised specials, but actual coupons?

Hi Jessica, you could try using a different browser. Sometimes they’re coded to only work in IE and not Firefox or vice versa.

Ashley, I’m not aure about that. I’ve never tried to use another store coupon, but maybe someone else will see this and be able to answer.

I love Walmart for some of their prices (Morningstars are less than 4 bucks!) but I won’t attempt to use coupons there ever again. I’ve been made to feel like I’m doing something wrong twice. I did print out the coupon policy and was told by the CSM, “I know my policy, I don’t need to see that!”
I’m not angry, just disappointed. Only trying to save money here, I can do it elsewhere.

I learned a great tip on HCW that helps with the browser issues. If you are printing out a coupon on IE somewhere in the link there is normally a combo of “vi” or “wi”. For Firefox the letters need to be “vg” or “wg”. If you swap out the letters for your appropriate browser the coupon will print. Hope that helps!

    Hi,

Walmart had Glade Air Fresheners on sale for $.86. I didn’t have a coupon to go with it though. This is in the Atlanta area.

the ben and jerrys coupon is gone, and there is a 1.00 off 3 hamburger helper at http://www.boxtops4education.com

    :)
I can’t get the johnsons soap to print in Mozilla… I think I would have to use explorer, but you can always hit the link at the bottom that says HELP to request that coupon be mailed snail mail to you!

Just got back from Walmart & found Schick Intuition & Schick Quattro gift sets in the Christmas clearance. Reg price $10, 75% off made it $2.50 and I had a $2 off Q from Sunday inserts (exp 1/18/09, I think). 50 cents for each gift set that includes a razor, 5 refill cartridges, a cosmetic bag & 2 cosmetic brushes. I got 2 ’cause I only had 2 coupons, and there was still one left. I never get there in time to get the great deals so I was really excited to find this! You never know what you’ll find in the Christmas clearance. . .
