Sheesh! I was able to order right before I posted this — they definitely do go fast. Maybe they’ll add some more before the day is over.

What is the catch to these “free” magazine subscriptions ladies? I’m very hesitant to sign up for them, even though there have been 2 in this past week I was interested in. Are they really free?

Emily, basically magazines often offer free subscriptions because they don’t earn their money off the subscriptions. They earn it off the advertisers that are trying to target their readers. So if they can boast higher numbers of readers, they can earn more advertising revenue.

I only post free magazine offers from reputable sources that I’ve tried personally in the past. If I’ve never used a company, I will indicate so in a post, but I’ve registered with Mercury Magazines in the past and have received my subscriptions.

I know this one is out of stock, but I have a question… they don’t ask for your mailing address… sooooo, how do you GET the magazine then? What am I missing?

They don’t ask for your mailing address until the very last step. That way you don’t have to give it out if you don’t qualify for some reason.

What do you need to put into those “categories” Mercury wants to be able to have more choices of free magazines? I never have any luck. I end up with options that are of no interest at all. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
