Hi! I saw this post on several different blogs so I decided to try it. However, after going to literally 3 different Walgreens here in MA while dragging along a toddler – I gave up. Lol

None of the stores would let me use both coupons and the product costs $8.99 here donut wouldn’t have been a good deal for me. :(

I did see it as buy 1 get 1 1/2 off at Rite Aide though so might try it there.

    Thank you!! :)

Unfortunately at my Walgreen’s, they will only honor coupon or the other. The Walgreen’s coupon states that it is a “Manufacturer coupon” in the conditions on the coupon…so when try to use it, it comes up in the scanner as a “Manufacturer” coupon and they will only let you use one or the other. Still, it is a $3 off coupon, so it would make the product $2.99 and a good deal.

I’m having a hard time opening the $2.50 coupon. I get an error “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage…”

    Anyone else having that problem?

Is the Frieda $2.50 coupon only for certain zip codes? Doesn’t show up for me and isn’t in the already printed section either. Thanks for the help & to all Happy Holidays : )

Last week for the root awakening deal I had no trouble using both the Walgreens and manufacturer coupons at two different local stores. At one they forgot to scan the Walgreens coupon but the manager came over and made the correction without any problems. I haven’t seen the $2.50 coupon yet so maybe it has different restrictions on it that the registers pick up?

My walgreens is still 6.99 and they don’t let me use both coupons!! I was so disappointed last week when i could get the last good deal because of it! I wrote the company an email questioning why my walgreens doesn’t accept both….we’ll see what they say!

I was able to do this deal at my Walgreens. They were $6.99 here. They had the coupon taped right on the product to use. There were no beeps and it was a manager checking me out.

I just noticed on the Walgreen’s coupon it says “Not good with offer.”

Just got back from Walgreens – They are $6.99 here in Atlanta – They let me use both coupons so it was $1.49 each instead of .49! Thanks for the tip!

I was able to use both coupons and I didn’t have any problems. They told me it was a WAGS coupon so I could use both. In fact, while I was looking at the shampoo the cashier told me about the $3 WAGS coupon plus she had some $1 coupons I could have used too. I got a shampoo, conditioner (with bonus travel shampoo) and I was able to score two of the gel creme (each had a bonus travel shampoo) because they were on clearance for $3.29. The shampoo & conditioner were 6.49 at my Wags, but after coupons, for about $3, I got 4 full size products and 3 travel size! Plus, the machine printed off 4 catalina coupons for $1.50 & $1 on more of the luxurious volume. Woo hoo!

It does clearly state “Manufacturer coupon” on the Walgreen’s one. So even though it may work at some Wag’s, it is wrong to do so.

These are Walgreens store coupons, and are coded as such. I’m going to be posting some information that Mercedes got from Walgreens customer service on their coupon policy shortly, so watch for that.

Didn’t know about checking the coding. That sure makes a difference. Thanks!!!

If I buy 2 and use 1 of the $3 off Wags coupon, will it take $6 off?

I did it at my store in PA and the Walgreens coupon (which I had her scan second) beeped. She said that it was because the bonus packs were coded differently and had me grab a couple of the regular ones. I did, she voided the bonus packs and rescanned the Wags coupon. This time it went through without any beeps. By the way, she let me take the bonus packs and put the others back. This may be what is going on with the coupons beeping for some. Also, just a heads up, I was able to get a raincheck for the St. Ives body wash, which they were out of. I wasn’t aware that they would write up a raincheck for an item that was associated with an in ad coupon. Nice to know and definitely worth asking for. YMMV

Becky, it should automatically take off for each item purchased.

Landis, nothing wrong with stuffing your own stocking — at least you know you’re going to love everything you’re getting!

the cashier has to deduct the mani coupon first then the store coupon or it will always beep. some cashiers dont know that. if you hand them the manifacturer coupon then the store coupon it will work.

I am pretty sure they have to take the manuf. coupon first and then the store coupon. At first it beeped and the cashier would not allow me to use both but then I said why, can you ring it up using the man. Q first and she did and it worked fine.
They were 6.99 here though, not 5.49.

I just got back from Walgreens and they didn’t take the Walgreens coupon. They manager accoused me of using a fake ebay coupon. I couldn’t believe how I was treated ! Is there a way to complain to corporate ? :(

Oh my gosh, really? That’s horrible. I would call customer service so you get an immediate response.
