This offer is good THROUGH ANY LINK!!!! NOT JUST YOURS!!!!! You just won’t get the “credit” if ppl sign-up through another link. This offer is open to everybody, everywhere. Why do you ALWAYS write that in your listings?? Oh yeah, so you can make $$$ off of us!

Want an even better deal on Redbox rentals? Look for specially marked boxes of Orville Reddenbacher popcorn. I bought a 6 pack today for $2.15 at Harris Teeter. Inside the box are 4 Redbox Codes good until September. Plus there are coupons inside the box for future use.

When any one of us links up to Groupon from this site THEY- meaning the owner of this site- gets $10.00 credited to their personal Groupon acct. This would add up to potentially hundreds if not thousands of $$$. Whatta gimmick. Sign-up on your own and tell your friends and then YOU CAN GET THE $$ in your own acct. Sorry, just stating the facts.

Robin SO FREAKING WHAT? So what if she is getting $10 groupon bucks for each person who BUYS a groupon .. she wont get the $10 if we dont buy. We can sign up and not buy and she wont get anything. Also YOU can too invite friends, family and strangers too. YOU will be making money also off of them. So what does that say about you? Oh I get it, its ok for you to make groupon bucks but not her? Oh and if you’re such a hater then why are you signed up with her daily e-mail deals? To score deals and free stuff from the info SHE provides for YOU. I don’t care if she got the info from someone else and posted it on her site or actually went and found the deals her self. She does a great job at what she does. And its FREE for us. Just be lucky she doesnt make you to pay for the info she provides. Sorry, just stating the facts. Grow up!

      What are the rules?
If someone joins Groupon within 72 hours after clicking your link, we’ll notify you within 24 hours of their first purchase and automatically add $10 Groupon Bucks to your account. You can refer as many people as you like.

FYI: I don’t subscribe to the emails. I don’t even check the site all the time. But, when I do, I occasionally find info on things that I DO LIKE and I will NOT DENY THAT. However, I go to the sites on my own with NO links!! Lets face it, it’s not brain surgery here as hundreds of other sites have the exact same info. The ONLY part that I have issue with is the way the info is posted. Oh, “link up from here ONLY” to get this deal or that discount when in reality you could go directly to the website and score the deal on your OWN! I do agree these sites are good for people who may not have the time to search for a specific coupon or the like. My issue is with the way it is worded- to fool consumers into signing up/logging on/buying RIGHT NOW before the deal is gone/supplies are exhausted/whatever other excuse there is to be thought of.
****ALSO FYI: Are you really that intellectually bankrupt to think she does this out of the goodness of her heart???WAKE UP. This is a VERY lucrative way for Ms. Tara to spend her days. She relys on the naivety of strangers. She owes you a big thanks!! Just saying…….

Wow! I can’t believe how upset you are over this blog. I love dealseekingmom and I think Tara is thoughtful, educated, and finds great deals in a timely manner. She can choose to word her entries in any way she likes. I am glad that she has found a passion for finding and sharing deals and it’s awesome that she too gets something out of it. If you are uncomfortable with her site or wording, then go to one of the other hundreds of deal site.

Keep up the good work, Tara!

PS I’ve never made any money WHATSOEVER on friends/family/strangers through Groupon or by any other means. So, NO, it’s not alright for me either

Wow, Robin, that wording was actually accidentally left in from a previous post that I used as a template where you could only get to the Groupon deal from a specific link. I’ve been in bed with the stomach flu all day, so I’m just now seeing this.

I’m not out to scam anyone here, and while I do earn money from my site, that is far from the sole reason for why I share these offers. If you were a regular reader of DSM, you would know that I do not ALWAYS make a habit of instructing people that they must click through my links.
