I’m excited to offer another fun 12 Days of Christmas series at Deal Seeking Mom. Each day through 12/7, I’ll post a new 3-day giveaway! Browse all of the giveaways here.

I love kitchen gadgets of all kinds, so I was excited to try out the Shenzhen Ceramic Knives after reading about the many benefits that ceramic knives offer over traditional steel knives:
- Ceramic knives stay sharper longer. They’re harder than steel and will hold their edge longer.
- They will not rust and and are easy to clean.
- Ceramic knives won’t affect the taste of food or cause it to turn brown.
- They’re lightweight, making them easy and comfortable to use.
So what’s my verdict? They certainly are every bit as sharp as their website says. My finger can attest to that, LOL. The only drawback I can see? Because ceramic knives are very delicate, they can’t be used for more aggressive chopping and deboning, so you will still need to have several steel knives on hand for these tasks.
The good news is that Shenzhen Ceramic Knives are a fantastic price for the quality compared to many other highly recommended ceramic knives. So if you’re looking for a good set of ceramic knives at a bargain price, this set fits the bill!

Four Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a 3-piece Shenzhen knife set (chef’s knife, slicing knife and paring knife) and peeler.
To enter, tell me how often you sharpen your knives. Do you just buy them and that’s it, or do you bring them in to get sharpened on a yearly basis?

I have just one good knife that I sharpen, all the rest are “use until they are unusable and toss” type knives. Although I do save some for the Junk drawer to open tough bags of veggies, and packages~ I would love love love these knives!

I hate to admit this but never! I have a set of really cheap ones and I really should sharpen them but I never do. I think my husband does occasionally. I would do if I had a set of good ones though!

I take mine to my local farmer’s market every few months. There’s a guy there that does my sharpening for me. Love it!

I sharpen my knife (ha ha) about once a year or less. I have to take it to my parents’ house, I don’t have a knife sharpener, nor any room for one!

My husband is fanatical about sharping my knives because he got an awesome knife sharpenener from Bass Pro Fishing. The most important tool a cook can have is a sharp knife!
