I’m excited to offer another fun 12 Days of Christmas series at Deal Seeking Mom. Each day through 12/7, I’ll post a new 3-day giveaway! Browse all of the giveaways here.

I love kitchen gadgets of all kinds, so I was excited to try out the Shenzhen Ceramic Knives after reading about the many benefits that ceramic knives offer over traditional steel knives:
- Ceramic knives stay sharper longer. They’re harder than steel and will hold their edge longer.
- They will not rust and and are easy to clean.
- Ceramic knives won’t affect the taste of food or cause it to turn brown.
- They’re lightweight, making them easy and comfortable to use.
So what’s my verdict? They certainly are every bit as sharp as their website says. My finger can attest to that, LOL. The only drawback I can see? Because ceramic knives are very delicate, they can’t be used for more aggressive chopping and deboning, so you will still need to have several steel knives on hand for these tasks.
The good news is that Shenzhen Ceramic Knives are a fantastic price for the quality compared to many other highly recommended ceramic knives. So if you’re looking for a good set of ceramic knives at a bargain price, this set fits the bill!

I sharpen my knives with a knife sharpener stick thing :)

We usually just sharpen them when we notice they’re really dull–so it doesn’t happen too often!

I don’t know when the last time I sharpened my knives, but I need some decent knives to sharpen and a sharpener… lol

I confess I throw mine in a drawer, dishwash them and never sharpen them – that’s my husband’s job (and I’ve no idea how he does it).
Cheryl
I sharpen knives quite often this time of year as hunting season is in and the knives get dull quickly.
JEN C
I never sharpen our knives. I actually just replaced our knife set, because our old set was dull and starting to rust.

I rarely sharpen my knives. My knife sharpener is a pain & it doesn’t work well, so I usually don’t bother…

I just keep using the same old dull knives and every once in a while add a new knife so that I always have at least one sharp knife.

I never have sharpened my knives, I guess that is why some don’t work well!

We never have our knives sharpened. We just buy new ones when ours get too dull.
Chitra
glad I am not alone~ I rarely sharpen, have tried but can’t seem to get the results I want. Its just so economical to purchase new ones rather than keep investing on sharpeners that don’t/or hard to work.

when my knives become too dull, we either buy new ones or go to mother in laws to use her electric sharpener

I sharpen mine myself whenever I feel they are dull
