Whenever we run out of gift ideas for our four girls to offer the grandparents, my default answer is pretty much “books or something Melissa & Doug”.

When they arrived, my husband and I quickly unpacked the boxes to see for ourselves (the big reveal for the girls will have to wait until Christmas morning!). What I love most is that the sturdy train table offers a place for all four girls to play together, and it can be used not only for the classic wooden train set but also for their doll house, building blocks or as a table for their arts & crafts.

The train set itself offers a ton of possible configurations and is sure to keep them busy for hours, and I have a feeling our 3-year-old will spend most of Christmas Day dressed up as a train engineer!

    My 6 y/o daughter loves to play with trains but her favorite toy is a wooden doll bed that was built by my grandfather when I was a child. This bed is close to 30 years old & has held up compared to so many other toys!

    Believe it or not – Thomas the Train! She loves anything with trains, and we even had her birthday in September at the Railroad &Train park!! This would be the BEST gift ever :)

    I love having Melissa & Doug toys available when my grandchildren come to visit. They all love the wooden puzzles, tool kit, building blocks, and all they wooden vehicles (including the train). They also love the arts and crafts, especially the wooden stamper sets.
