Whenever we run out of gift ideas for our four girls to offer the grandparents, my default answer is pretty much “books or something Melissa & Doug”.

When they arrived, my husband and I quickly unpacked the boxes to see for ourselves (the big reveal for the girls will have to wait until Christmas morning!). What I love most is that the sturdy train table offers a place for all four girls to play together, and it can be used not only for the classic wooden train set but also for their doll house, building blocks or as a table for their arts & crafts.

The train set itself offers a ton of possible configurations and is sure to keep them busy for hours, and I have a feeling our 3-year-old will spend most of Christmas Day dressed up as a train engineer!

    The baby likes his wooden teething ring. The big kids enjoy building towers with wooden blocks…the higher the better!

    My son is in love with anything trains! We have so much fun with them. We also love our Melissa & Doug puzzles and music instruments!

    My daughter thinks it GREAT to dump her wooden blocks all over the floor. She’ll also knock over towers….but we’re still working on the building :o)

    My son loves trains and everywhere we go he loves the train tables. HE WOULD FLIP OUT if we won this. We were hoping to get him one for Christmas so it would be perfect!
