I’m excited to offer another fun 12 Days of Christmas series at Deal Seeking Mom. Each day through 12/7, I’ll post a new 3-day giveaway! Browse all of the giveaways here.

Our family is big on grilling out, so it’s always disappointing when the cold weather forces us to pack away our grill until warmer weather returns. But this year we expect to enjoy delicious grilled foods indoors all winter long thanks to our new Breville Smart Grill!
We’ve used other contact grills in the past, but they’ve always fallen somewhat short of our expectations. The plates weren’t easy to clean. The grills weren’t large enough to cook enough food for our family at one time. And they were all limited to use as a clamshell-type grill. But the Breville Smart Grill met and/or exceeded our expectations in every area:
- The Smart Grill opens flat into a 260 square inch BBQ surface. I love this because I can cook bacon or sausage on one wide, while making pancakes on the other easily.
- Whether you use it closed or in BBQ mode, all of the excess fat and oils drain into one central drip tray that’s easy to empty.
- The grill plates on the Smart Grill are removable for easy cleaning. And even better — they’re dishwasher safe. Yay!
The Breville Smart Grill offers the latest in grilling technology with their Element IQ feature. Element IQ compensates for the drop in grill temperature when you place cold foods on the surface by injecting heat into the plates for rapid recovery back to the selected cooking temperature. This allows you to get those great sear marks that make for flavorful grilled meats.

My family loves food and especially grilled foods. Its hard to grill in the winter time because of the snow, so this would be a perfect compromise for us!
Julie
Chicken, fish, pork chops….too much snow to do outside!!

Where do I start? Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, chicken, pork chops, peaches, burgers, fish, shrimp, scallops, pineapple, grilled cheese sandwiches, smash sandwiches, hot dogs, kabobs, peppers, onions, portabello mushrooms, eggplant, the list goes on! I wonder if I could do a grilled pizza on it?
Kylee

First things first, I’d make pancakes and bacon. Yum. We don’t do the two together often because I can’t get them on at the same time, so this would make that happen.
Kasey
I would grill a bunch of veggies for veggie fajitas
Stephanie
We would definitely do chicken breast! My whole family loves chicken and this grill would do a great job:)

We grill all year round outside…even though it takes a little longer to cook a steak when it’s 10 degrees out! We are constantly grilling chicken breasts in one kind of marinade or another, so that would probably be the first thing we use it for.
Nicole
Definitely a rare cheeseburger!!!
Melissa
Chicken for putting in pasta.

The first thing I’m going to grill….STEAK. We butchered some beef and there are some t-bones with my name on them. I can already taste them and can’t wait until I can get to a grill.
