Just to let you know the Yankee Candle in my area would not accept this coupon on the clearance candles after x-mas, they claimed that the coupn is not valid on prmotions although the coupon does not say that.

That’s strange considering the email that it came in encouraged using it on sale items.

My local shop in North Dakota also would not take it on Christmas sale items. They said it was a new corporate policy.

Our store in Chesapeake, VA has had so many policy changes recently, I refuse to shop there anymore. First, they told me that the company decided to allow their coupons to be used for up to six months past the due date. I was thrilled! I loaded up on votives (tons of votive holders in my home) and watched my stock dwindle, getting my coupon ready to go again. I stood in line for 20 minutes around Christmas, only to be told that the company decided NOT to keep that decision, but they’d be sending coupons out more often. I was really upset, returned my candles to their shelves, and left. At the next sale, they were announcing $1 votives again, so once again, I stood in line with my children, only to be told that there were only about 4 scents that price qualified for. Nevermind that the employee did NOT tell me this when asked originally. This time, I left my purchase on the counter. I spent an average of $30 a month there in candles. Never again will I shop there.
