WOW! Glade Products $0.10 Each to Great Money Maker!

December 15, 2011 by Deal Seeking Mom 13 Comments

Here’s an update on the Glade deal at Target!  There is a certain variety of the Glade Winter collection Scented Oil Plug-Ins Twin Refill that includes a bonus warmer that is on sale for $2.50 and prompting for the Target $5 Gift Card! Look for the Holiday Cheers variety – all others are marked and ringing up $4.50.

The magic of this one being so low in price – is because we have a great $2/1 Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Twin Refill coupon AND we have our $1.50/3 Glade Holiday Home Fragrance items printable Target coupon too! Even if you don’t see this sale tag- you may want to scan this variety just in case it’s just missing the sign. Here are two different scenarios, the first is if you have 2 computers for four prints- check out what you can do:

Buy 4 Glade Holiday Cheers Twin Refill, $2.50 each
Buy 1 Premium Room Spray, $2.50
Get a $5 Target Gift Card wyb 5 Glade Winter Collection participating products
$1.50/3 Glade Holiday Home Fragrance items Target printable
$2 off Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Refill printable (use 4)
$0.55/1 Glade Premium Room Spray printable or
$0.55/1 Glade Premium Room Spray, exp. 1/14/12 (SS 12/04/11)
Pay $2.45 OOP, $2.55 Money Maker after coupons and gift card!

Even if you only have 1 computer and no other insert coupons to your name- you can still grab an awesome deal using just printable coupons!  Here’s how:

Buy 3 Glade Holiday Cheers Twin Refill, $2.50each,
Buy  2 Jar Candles, $2.50 each
Get a $5 Target Gift Card wyb 5 Glade Winter Collection participating products
$1.50/3 Glade Holiday Home Fragrance items Target printable
$2 off Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Refill printable (use 2)
$1.50/2 Glade Jar Candle printable
Pay $5.50 OOP, $0.50 cents for ALL 5 products after coupons and gift card, that’s $0.10 each!

(Thanks, Totally Target!)

Wouldn’t you be able to score more money on this deal since you can use the gift card coupon as well?

I hope you reply because I am really curious – I have read comments on another blog of people saying the target cashiers did not accept that because you can’t do promotion on top of promotion.

In October when the Dove shampoo/conditioners were on sale for $5 each and were under a buy 4 get $5 GC promotion, I tried to buy them with my BOGO coupons and was disappointed when the cashier said I couldn’t use them because of the promotion : (

Jen, it wouldn’t hurt to try it, but as you said, it can vary from cashier to cashier. I don’t think there’s anything in the Target coupon policy that directly addresses this situation.

Jen, I have tried this deal three times- it works!! You CAN get both gift cards, but the catch is that if your total is less than $10, it’s going to beep and not accept it. So what you have to do is get the cashier to scan the $5 SC Johnson gift card coupon FIRST, then the rest of your coupons, and it should work no problem.

    Hi, I need help..

Are some of the deals u post (glade, curel) regional or online? The giftcard promo wasn’t I. Our circular, I asked the manager. Nothin.
And they didn’t carry the Curel size on the deal I saw. I’m still learning, but just couldn’t figure this out.
I really wanted the glade deal!! Yummy smells!!

Fran, this particular deal is an unadvertised gift card deal. You can look for the tags in store, or if you scan the item at one of the scanners, it should tell you that it’s part of a GC deal.

What does the scan show if the deal is on? My store didn’t have a sign last week when I was going to do this deal, so how can I tell by the scan if they have it?

I don’t recall the exact wording, but it will say something about it being part of a gift card promotion on the screen.

The bad thing about this deal is that every Target that I have been to have been out of all of the glade holiday scents and they don’t know when they will be getting more.

I just got back from Target and this deal worked for me. The only plugins that are $2.50 are the gold box “Holiday Cheers”, the rest (pine, apple cinnamon, etc) are $4.50. The price on all of them are $4.50 but the gold boxes ring up at $2.50 (I checked with a price scan first). My total was $3.36 and I got a $5 gift card too! Good luck!
