My local Walgreens wouldn't let me use a coupon worth more than the price of the item - boo!

Actually, the new corporate coupon policy states that they should accept them:

In the event that any item's selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.

I had the same problem. They said no and that I didn't buy the item pictured. Didn't matter that I pointed out that is not what the coupon said. Too bad. I hate shopping at Walgreens because of that. They are so coupon unfriendly.

It looks like the Oreo Fudge Creams coupon is no longer available, Carol.
