Mine were $1.50 each so $3. Received $2 rewards. My only issue with walgreens rewards is they say it's a coupon but advertise like it's cash. So when you buy items with coupons say two items and two coupons they make you purchase something else(a third item) to use the rewards.
The deal IS $0.50 each so you did get the price mentioned in the post.
As for the coupons and item limit. Each register reward must match up with an item. You cannot have three register rewards and only two items. If you have two items and two register rewards (and no other coupons), then it should work as long as your pre-tax total is enough for the coupons to cover it. Check out the Walgreens coupon policy since the cashiers may not know that this is the policy.
