Spring Los Angeles Lunch ToteWe're about a month-and-a-half into the New Year now. How are your resolutions holding up?

This is about the time when people start to slack off, but I've got a few items to help you keep those healthy resolutions going strong!

  • Spring Los Angeles Lunch Tote – Make brownbagging your lunch more appealing with these super cute lunch totes from Spring Los Angeles.  Packing your lunch daily could allow you to save as much as $2,000 a year over purchasing your lunch out every day!  And even better, Spring Los Angeles has graciously offered to give Deal Seeking Mom reader 15% off the purchase of one of these adorable lunch bags with the code DealSeekingMom.  This code is good through 3/31/09, and they're currently offering $1 shipping!
  • Subway Gift CardsSubway has a variety of healthy and low-cal sandwich choices available.  With eight sandwiches weighing in at 6 grams of fat or less, you're sure to find a healthy meal that appeals to you you.  In a pinch, their $5 foot-long subs would be a great alternative to packing your lunch, especially if you can find someone to share it with.
  • Bethesda Sunscreen SoapBethesda Sunscreen Soap is an all-natural sunscreen soap.  Providing a minimum of SPF 10, Bethesda Sunscreen Soap is perfect for light everyday use for everyone in the family, and the 50+ vitamins and minerals in the soap promote healthy skin year-round.  I know I'm not very vigilant in applying sunscreen outside of the summer months, so this is a fantastic alternative!

Wow, what a giveaway!
Those Spring Los Angeles totes are so cute! And they look very well-made. My favorite is the medium Citrus Celebration, just because the colors are so darn pretty and springlike.
I love, love Subway. My "usual" is the footlong tuna on Italian herb and spice bread, with provolone cheese and all the veggies. This makes two generous meals for me, although at present I have to leave off the cheese and salad oil. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this sandwich!
I'd never before heard of Bethesda Sunscreen Soap, but it sounds wonderful, especially the fact that sunscreen of at least SPF 10 is manufactured right into the bar. I also really enjoyed reading the testimonials of users - many of them seem to have had near-miraculous results from switching to this soap. Very impressive!
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

Re: Bethesda Sunscreen Soap: "the melanie bar of soap to cancer patients...
In honor of Melanie, Jamie's sister who is fighting stage 4 colon and liver cancer, we are giving away a free bar of soap to anyone who is suffering with cancer or knows of someone who has cancer. Please send the name, address and the recipient's condition to, and be sure to reference The Melanie Policy. Because chemotherapy and cancer treatment depletes the skin of it's nutrients and causes it to become fragile, Bethesda Sunscreen Soap was created with a combination of healing and therapeutic properties to strengthen, restore and protect the skin."
Wow, I know a little girl who was just diagnosed w/ cancer, not skin cancer, but a malignant brain tumor. She has a year of chemo ahead of her, and I wasn't aware that her skin might weaken. I will definitely order some of this soap as a gift for her when she starts to suffer from the treatment. It might help her health in its weakened state. I think it's very noble of this site to offer a freebie for cancer patients!

Thanks for the entry!
