Sherwin-Williams: $10 off $50 Purchase Coupon

We're getting ready to do some painting around our house, so I've been on the hunt this morning for coupons to help defray the costs. I did stumble across a $10/$50 Sherwin-Williams Purchase coupon -- unfortunately it's only good on regular price merchandise, but anything is better than nothing!

Have you found any good DIY or paint purchase coupons lately?

2 Shannon February 19, 2010 at 12:43 pm: I don't know when you're planning on doing your painting, but I am a huge fan of Behr paint that is carried at Home Depot. When buying paint last summer, the clerk told me that they always have rebates around the summer holidays so there should be one for Memorial Day if not before. Keep an eye out.

7 Laura C February 19, 2010 at 8:51 pm: Lowe's has $10 off $50 coupons on specially packaged rolls of painter's tape that cost $6.99 apiece. We are doing a laminate flooring project, so we bought a bunch of rolls of tape and are buying two packages of flooring at a time with the coupons. It's just a little savings, but every little bit helps and we will use all the tape eventually. We're making all our purchase using Lowe's gift cards we bought at 7-9% discount from PlasticJungle.com which adds to the savings. We also found the underlayment on-line from Lumber Liquidators for much cheaper (4 rolls shipped for the same price as 3 in-store) so we ordered that. It's hard to save money on home improvement projects, but these are a few hoops we're jumping through to keep the project costs as low as possible. Can't wait for our new floor to be done!
