Ohhh, great find on the toothbrushes! I’ve got those Reach coupons in my wallet just waiting to be cashed in… and I hit the Kroger (uh, multiple) times this week and didn’t notice this one! Thanks!

There is also a great deal on goldfish/soup. There were $2 off peelies on the goldfish (.99 with mega event) when you buy 5 kids Campbell’s soups (not on the mega). The soups were .73 each, and I had a .40 coupon which doubled. So for 1.94 I got 5 soups and goldfish.

your post says “when you buy 9 itmes”…you have to buy 10 for the mega…

also, small bags of kettle chips are $1.49

and bar-s hotdogs are $.83 (central price) after mega….use the $1/1 ip from yesterday = free

I am sorry for the confusion Katie. Yes, you do have to buy 10 items as stated at the beginning of the post. It says “9 participating items” to let you know that you can’t just buy the one item to get that price, you need to buy an additional 9 items. The wording gets really long if I write that out though!

        Hi Marilyn,
It means Internet Printable coupon that was available earlier in the week. It might still be available on the Bar-s facebook page.

If you by more than 10 do you still get the discount or do you have to buy 10 more to get another $5 off?

Hello, i am new to couponing but i think this is amazing i love getting deals and saving my hard earned money. my question is do you have to buy 10 of each mentioned item to get the sale price? i thought u could buy just 1 of each and a combined 10 different items and it would count that youd get the discount. also will krogers except more than 1 coupon for an item? say ive got 1.00 off kraft mac ncheese homestyle but ive 2 of those coupons and i just get obe box. will they take the 2.00 dollars off and it be free? i dont know the rules of couponing just yet and i need this knowledge!! thank you for your time.

      Hi Christina,
You can mix and match any ten participating items. There are tons of participating items so make sure to check out the other list. You do need to purchase in sets of 10 to get ten $5 off.

You can only use one manufacturers coupon per item. So in your Kraft example, you can only use one coupon.

Let me know if you have more questions!

I am also new at this. Exactly what does the term “participating item” mean? How will I know what is a participating item and what is not a participating item? thanks so much.

      Hi Donna,
There are certain items that qualify for the Mega Event. You need to buy 10 of the select items to get the $5 off instantly. All items are marked with a tag in the store. Many of the participating items are listed in this weeks Kroger Deals.

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
