The understand I have of these (from other sites) is that they are for use at small businesses. Which is great. Just keep in mind that many (or most) small businesses do not actually take american express. Their fees are twice that of the other cards so definitely try for one, but keep in mind you might need to try a few businesses or you might not find one near you at all who uses the card.
