AMF is a national chain of bowling alleys. Your local bowling alley may be part of the chain and not have AMF in their name (in fact, most don't), so check the list on their site for a location near you!

There is also a link on the AMF website for the Kids Bowl Free All Summer program - 2 games per day. There is a family pass option that starts at $24.95 that allows for up to 4 adult family members for the same 2 games/day. I don't have young children so I didn't register, but it might be worth looking at for family bowling.
When I click on the link I just get an ad for "Click to Give" not AMF. What's up?
