Lucy, please call AT&T with any questions you have. It’s my understanding from everything I’ve read that this is a promotion AT&T is offering simply as an appreciation to current customers.
Ok I just got off the phone with AT&T according to the rep I spoke to all I am saying “Yes” to is the roll over minutes. There are no other things attached to it.
I’ve sent the text, I’ll update if anything else comes up.
Good luck!
Ok, I did it and will update if something fishy happens. :) I immediately got a text in return stating that my minutes would be applied in the next 4 weeks subject to account eligibility. We shall see.
Just repeating what I heard on other blogs. You’re saying “yes” to them basically selling your name for “advertisements”, which means, yes, IMO, to LOTS of unsolicitated texts. If anyone finds out differently, please let us ALL know.
It’s a thank you from AT&T to their loyal iPhone customers for not switching to Verizon (who just got the rights to sell the iPhone, too). Last week they put out a coupon for 20% off any one accessory for iPhone users. This week it’s 1000 roll over minutes. You are not signing up for anything else. Apparently anyone with an AT&T account can sign up, not just iPhone users.

Any idea what we’re saying yes to?
Tara Kuczykowski
Just yes to receiving the free minutes. I believe it was originally aimed at iPhone customers but they’ve opened it to all AT&T wireless customers.

What’s the catch? What else ARE we saying yes to beside the free minutes?

Will they be texting me non stop about porn or something after saying ‘yes’ to them?

I texted YES and they replied, Thank you your rollover minutes will be added within 4 weeks subject to verifying your account.
