Yes you can use the $0.50/1 coupons when you are using a B2G1 coupon. The $0.50 coupons apply to the products you are buying. The B2G1 coupon applies to the free product. Does that make sense?

makes perfect sense to me, however, not all store employees think sensibly. for instance, my local kroger says i can’t use the cents-off qs w/ b1g1 qs. i tried to educate them, all the way up to the store manager, but to no avail.
